Philly Italian Pastas & Subs

Absolutely love this place! The food is top notch. I ordered eggplant Parmesan sub and husband had a Philly steak and cheese. Both were amazing and the marinara sauce was the be best I've ever had! The atmosphere and service were perfect. We will definitely be making this a regular favorite on date night.

Called in an order. Guy on phone says great be 20min. Get to the the place to pick up. Guy says you didn’t call us you called the owner and owner hasn’t called us yet. So it will be another 15min. Unprofessional communication skills. Take personal number off the website.

Do not sleep on this place! Hands down one of the best subs I have had south of the Mason Dixon line! Make sure you come hungry. The portions are gargantuan!

Just ordered takeout yesterday and I got the chicken pasta Alfredo and it had no cream sauce in it I paid 51 bucks for some other stuff but it was ridiculously expensive and I will never order anything from there again

I heard good things about this place so decided to try it. Was not impressed We both got the ravioli which was mediocre. Maybe their subs are better but won’t know because wont be back

It’s a freaking must this place is amazing. I love it. I love it. I love it. Food is out of this world. Nice beautiful little gem here in the Appalachian mountains.

Had the XL Italian sub and it was amazing! Also had the cheese steaks which were also very authentic. I’m from the north and this place is the closest to northern hoagies I’ve ever had in this area! Will definitely be back!

These subs are extra large and stuffed with fresh goodness! The steak and cheese was fantastic. So was the cheesy garlic bread. When you visit, don’t miss out on the marinara — it is very special. What we loved best was getting to know the owner a little bit. What a gem he is!

This place is fantastic! The philly is amazing and piled high. We had the Italian sub on our last visit and it weighed a ton! Delicious meats and fresh vegetables. The owner couldn't be nicer and goes out of his way to make you comfortable. Can't wait to try the pasta dishes. We will be back again and again.

This is genuinely my favorite restaurant in this area. They make the best subs I've ever had, well anywhere really. Their sauces are legitimate. You won't get anything like this anywhere else in this area. It's owned by real people too, no corporate nonsense. They're super friendly folks. I custom ordered some of the craziest parmesan chicken subs anyone has ever placed an order for and they played ball. That was extremely cool. Stop in, give them a try. I promise you won't be disappointed. Check my other reviews, I don't mess around this place is legit.

I came to Candler with my boyfriend and his grandparents to camp and visit around the Great Smoky Mountains, on our last night we decided to look for a local restaurant to grab dinner and decided on Philly. Not knowing it was take out only we placed our order and drove around town for a few minutes to pass the time and the wait was SO worth it. The man working was incredibly pleasant and passionate about how good our food would be and for good reason. The pizza was delicious, some of the best I’ve ever had, but the meatball sub is really where you need to focus your attention. The sauce was so flavorful and bright, and the meatballs were THE BEST MEATBALLS I’VE EVER EATEN. and the sandwich was HUGE 3 of us were able to eat on it. Would definitely recommend stopping by and getting something to eat here! or traveling far and wide to get a meatball sub, it’s worth the drive.
