Philly Italian Pastas & Subs

Love love love this place!!! The people and the food!! We eat here often and it’s a great experience every time. I’m dairy-free and they’ve been accommodating every time. Very kind over the phone when we call to order. They’re always upfront about the wait time if it’s going to take a little while. But we don’t ever mind to wait on food as good as theirs! The portions are large enough that we always have leftovers for the next day. And the quality of food is just amazing! We get takeout and they always wrap the food carefully so that it doesn’t spill or leak in the car.

Wow...the portions.
2x definitely worth it.

10/10 will recommend coming to Philly Italian in Canton for subs. The sizes are huge but most importantly everything is so fresh, no matter what time of the day you order it because they are custom made.

And the staff is so friendly. I am definitely going back to try other meals on their expansive menu

GO HERE! Go here! Go here! It’s so tasty. We tried the steak and cheese on garlic bread and WOAH. Delish. The Italian sub 3 lbs… don’t be intimidated. If I could describe a 3lb sub as light this is the one The ham is so thin. It’s been in my fridge (slowly working at it for 3 days and it’s not once gotten soggy. I would recommend this place 1000 times. Go here. Cheese cake was tasty too.

Came here to eat because we hear how good it is and the portions are large. Well idk if it was just an off day the food tasted good nothing to rave about. Ravioli was made with super thick pasta which made it unappealing. Husband got a meatball sub which again tasted good but nothing to rave about. At the end of the day portions were horrible, 3 meatballs on a sub and 5 ravioli on a bowl does not warrant a $30 price tag.

Delicious cheesesteaks made-to-order and an out-of-this-world marinara sauce and meatballs. Worth both the trip and the wait. Yummy.

This place is right down the road and we've been eyeballing it driving by for a while now, so today we decided to give it a try.

First off, let's start with the bad here: the wait. As I'm writing this, I've been waiting an hour for food they said would be ready in 20 minutes....and it hasn't arrived yet.

They do seem to be faster for their "preferred" customers (local PD, three of them arrived, were served, and left as we've been waiting).

Atmosphere is slightly worse than average, honestly not a big deal when you consider this is a takeout place.

Food TBD. Will update review when food arrives. Maybe it bumps this up, maybe not.

As is, I'm sadly not impressed with the service so far...but again, maybe the food will make up for it when it comes out.

Update: food was slightly above average overall. My wife's pasta and my daughter's pasta was cooked well, but mine was slightly undercooked. Alfredo sauce was decent, neither great nor terrible, but their red marinara is pretty good.

Overall, still a long wait for this, longer than it needed to be, so I'll keep that in mind if I go back, but at least the food was good.

What a surprise! After driving past this cute place so many times, we decided to do take-out while we had no water in Candler during the disaster. The food was tasty, and the portions were huge. They have much more than sandwiches. We had chicken parm and chicken Alfredo. Three of us made three meals out of the two entrees. It is a lot more pasta than chicken, but that is fine and the price is appropriate. The take out containers were aluminum, making reheating easy. We will definitely go back!

Stopped at Philly Italian Pasta and Subs to pick up dinner. We had a meatball sub and they easily accommodated our request for it to be deconstructed so that we could heat and eat it later. The sub was large (3 large meatballs), excellent bread quality and delicious and came with fantastic marinara sauce. The service was excellent as they carefully prepared our meal while we waited. While their location is outside Canton on a fairly busy road, the food was excellent and the service was very friendly.
