DO NOT WORK HERE.Interested in my justice story? Please, read on.I worked there last season.I will never step foot back into that place ever, ever again. This place is a cult if I've ever seen one.Rated least worst to worst.6. The rooms they give you are paper thin. You can hear the person behind your room snoring all night. You can hear everything in the bathrooms.5. the food they make for the employees is horrible, salty, sleepy foods that will ruin your gut as well as your work day. I'm not one for wasting food but I sure threw out a lot during my time here.4. The owner of the place will eat in the dining room occasionally and run the servers around as if no other guests are there except him, pissing off your other tables.3. The manager and Human Resources are very close and will not help you when you need it. Weird dude following you back to the employee dorms? HR will tell you that you just 'need to be meaner' and thats the end of it.2. Will work you 12 hours a day no matter your age, knowing you need back surgery.1. Thanks for making it is far. This is the worst one that is completely unjustifiable. The housekeeping manager of last year was thought to be stealing tips from her housekeepers before the housekeepers got into the rooms to clean. Set up by some of them (putting down cash from their own pockets and then watching her go into the rooms from the parking lot) it was proved to be true. She would take most or all of the money. some days she would carry cash on her to switch the amounts around. When many (I do mean many) housekeepers went to the HR department about this, nothing was done. In fact, of the housekeepers that spoke up and actually confronted the housekeeping manager got fired in the process.During clean up at the end of the season? she stole 2 rings from the gift shop. The gift shop manager was told about this. The manager of initials JJ was hired back again for season 2024.Also if you get caught having a dog in your room, they will fine you $500. You read that correctly.Everything sold there is so unbelievably high it will make you laugh (or cry)Look up everything you want online instead and you will see the difference.Go for the view if you're traveling, but for gods sake don't work here.Regards,Ex employee.Noteworthy details: Do not work here.

Even if you don’t have time to stay, it’s worth it to stop for a glass of wine at sunset. Their wine bar serves fine wines but it isn’t stuffy. It has beautiful views, a fireplace, and a fun host Teri who makes each of her guests feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

We ate here for lunch. Great view! Above avg. Food- waitress got a lil mad (and it showed through the rest of our lunch) when I reminded her to bring lemon for my dad's water.

First, we haven't been to the inn, although we did peek at the rooms. All of them have an awesome view, the inside is ok.We wanted to eat at the restaurant. They wouldn't let us. YOU CANNOT EAT THERE WITHOUT A RESERVATION. Even though they had tables available. It seems it's their policy, so many people go there, they can do what they want. I kind of understood it but was disappointed. They do have a little store with a refrigerator with salads and expensive sandwiches, (i.e. airport price), but we arrived at 2pm and there was just one. No other place to eat in miles. What bothered me is when they said that the ice cream was only for the guests, captive audience much?I ate there years ago, the food was alright. But the view is what you go there for. Get a sandwich someplace else and have a picnic on the grounds instead.

Drove hour to get here for lunch. Nothing on website saying they are closed to anyone not staying in the Inn the whole month. Asked to speak to manager Susan but with restaurant over half empty Susan was too busy to speak with us so she sent a guy that echoed we needed a reservation. While standing thier waiting on manager heard people call asking for reservations. They gave canned response that they are not taking reservations for the rest of the season. I mentioned the contradiction but didn't help. Bought 1/8 of chicken salad sandwich for $16 We hangout for hour and checked in restaurant which was still more than half empty a hour after I talked with delegated manager. No place to attach picture of half empty restaurant or I certainly would have.

Nancy at the restaurant was extremely brisk and rather rude when we asked how we could make a reservation. She was sold out she said and that is understandable although the dismissive manner she used was the key takeaway while being much more gracious with refusals to other non reserved parties. I can understand being sold out but I don’t understand careless attitude to customers.

My wife and I ate at the Pisgah Inn Restaurant and had a pasta salad and a trout entre. We shared bites of eachother's meals, and soon after eating on our hike at Graveyard Fields, we both felt mildly nauseous. I won't go into detail about our symptoms later in the day and early evening and into the next day, but we both believe we had mild food poisoning. It happens. What usually doesn't happen is the manager passing your call to the restaurant off to the head chef who simply defends the freshness of the food and says that has never happened here. I am a military veteran, and the rule of thumb I have always gone by is the benefit of the doubt goes to the veteran, which translats in this case to " the benefit of the doubt goes to the customer. " When I called him back, he only went on to defend the freshness of the food, and saying, " We don't offer gift cards here." He was not respectful at all, and at the end of the conversation neither was I. I'm from the midwest, and I'm not used to being treated like that as a customer. We spent $60 on a lunch, that to be honest, by Asheville standards, was sub-standard. But it's all about the view, I understand that. I would have hoped for an apologetic call from a general manager and an offer of another visit or a refund for the meal.

My husband and I frequently visit the Pisgah Inn Restaurant and enjoy both sunrise and sunset views on the property. There are rocking chairs to sit in and a nice deck connected to the restaurant and gift shop to stand and take in the beautiful mountain views. We love the French onion soup and trout! The service is always friendly and good. The gift shop has a lot of nice items too.Overall, a very cozy and peaceful place to visit on the Blue Ridge!

Our entire stay was ruined by your horrible restaurant manger. We stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the room and the view was phenomenal. We had a delicious meal and wonderful service in the restaurant. We had closed out our tab and were finishing the last few sips of wine before leaving when then "manager"/hostess came up and told us our time was up for our reservation and we needed to leave. We were never ever informed there was a time limit when we were seated. She was horribly rude and completely unprofessional. We confronted her about her behavior and the situation to which we got a smug, curt reply. This woman should be fired before she loses you any more business. In 30+ years of dining at great restaurants, I have never been informed I exceeded a time limit and needed to leave. It was unbelievable! Despite all the incredible things about this place, we likely won't be back because this one woman treated us so rudely.

I went hiking up here to enjoy the fall weather and colors. There is a nice trail just below the gift shop area. They have rockers lined up out side in from of the gorgeous mountain view. The trail was great. There are a few slightly steep and rocky areas so it might be considered intermediate trail.

Absolutely stunning views and a great outdoor seating area with rocking chairs for beers/wine or a picnic. Didn't stay in the hotel, but rooms have a classic vibe. Attached to the motel is a reservation suggested restaurant with amazing views, deli, gift shop and a stunning wine bar with a great selection with a nice fireplace and more views. Plenty of parking and a general store at the enterance.Food & drinks: Food was good, beer and wine accessible.Noteworthy details: Stunning views

The Blue Ridge Parkway was beautiful. It was a foggy day, so the scenery at the Inn was not a big deal. We were hungry, and looking forward to good food. Reservations are required to eat at the restaurant, and the menu online sets you up to assume that the food is amazing. From the moment we arrived, we don't feel welcome. The Hostess makes us wait for our reservation, when there are open tables. We're seated about 10 minutes later. Our waitress is very friendly, however. She is the highlight of the restaurant. She goes over the specials of the day, to include white bean and ham soup. We order the soup.I have sweet tea and my Mom has coffee. My tea comes in a tiny glass and Mom's coffee comes COLD in a stained, worn cup. Way overcharging for these drinks, in tiny, stained conditions. We ordered salads. I wanted the pecan salad. But after comparing the salad prices, it was just silly. Five dollars more for pecans? Same salad, just adding pecans and changing the name?My Mom loves blackberries, so she got the blackberry cobbler. No blackberries were in the cobbler, just gel. The pastry wasn't cooked all the way. The vanilla bean ice cream can be gotten anywhere. Everything is extremely over priced! We drove from the NC coast for a mountain vacation. We made this reservation weeks in advance. The decor was not warm and inviting. More of a old country store feel. The tables and chairs were like your first set in your apartment. Nothing felt like a dining experience. The best thing about this restaurant was the friendly server and her great accent. All this for the white bean soup!
