Upon attempting to locate a cup, I was unexpectedly confronted with rudeness by the male employee, who subsequently remarked on my appearance while browsing drink bottles. I am perplexed by his apparent problem with me, and his actions were both unwarranted and unappreciated, especially considering that I had previously left a tip.

I eat Subway quite a bit even though I typically have not had the best experiences. I LOVE this place in Calabash. The gentleman was amazing, super friendly and aimed to please. Finally, a great sandwich at a fair price and great customer service. Thank you, it really did make my day.

This location was really good years ago its been going down hill for a while now. I don't know if it's people getting lazy or just bad hires but the service is usually okay or not too good they seem just inexperienced or just don't care. The food is about the same as any subway its good but nothing spectacular. But the reason it gets 1 is because I don't know how much I can trust it because someone named Billy who was tall with long brown hair PICKED HIS NOSE WHILE MAKING MY SANDWHICH!!!!! On top of that it took him around 10 or so minutes (ONLY ONE THERE BTW) all for a booger sandwich.

The worst subway experience, terrible service and food. We ordered 3 subs first I don’t think you should carry subs to toaster by stacking them on top of each other especially when work area has leftover food on it. We felt like we were a big inconvenience to the two girls working there and they spent more time communicating with each other than with us while they were working on our order . The 3 subs were not wrapped correctly and they were just dumped in the bag, no more individual bags for each sub?? The bag was soaked because of the amount of food that was dumped out in the paper bag then to top it all off the rolls were doughy definitely not made correctly also we were not given an option on type of bread . Obviously most of the food ended up in the trash,a complete waste of time and money.

Parking: There is limited parking in front of the plaza, but you can walk from the grocery store parking section.

Coastal Calabash

The day staff seems to be the problem at this place. I ordered once during the day and the women rang me up, it was a 6” and I wanted to use my coupon to get it for $3.99, the coupon was expired and most Subways I’ve been too still take the coupon or use one they have or push what’s needed in register to make it $3.99, this women refused to take my coupon or make my sub $3.99 thru the register. And wanted full price which is apparently $7, to me that’s crazy expensive so I walked and I normally would just pay it. But not when with coupon even there 12” is $5.99 or less. Sad part is she could’ve made it $3.99 on her end and not lost my sale nor had to waste the food. I went another time at night and there was one guy work the whole store he was very friendly and helped me and my elderly mother with our order, we each tried to use our coupon separate bc they are often strict on “1 coupon per person”, he said “I don’t even need those coupons” he then rang us up with the cost being $1 less per sub than even the coupon said. So it again showed me that they have the power ti match any coupon without any coupon. I don’t know if he was the night manager or what but he was great and gave me a good price without having to mess with coupons. Thank you to that man for making it easy when I’ve had trouble at that subway and the one in Sunset Beach several times.

I was just in the store at 10:45 AM to the store would be clean and ready for business, but this place was pretty darn dirty. The lettuce looked very old which I’m really not complaining about. I’m more complaining about the cleanliness factor glass was dirty The counter had crumbs on it not what I’m usually accustomed to seeing in a sandwich shop especially this early in the morning the attendant behind the counter was somewhat friendly. Next time I’m going to Jersey Mike’s.

Worst Subway experience I've had. An employee (Lexx) was rude and negative the whole time and the "fresh" veggies were anything but.

I was ordering for my son, with my daughter standing right next to me talking about her upcoming order. After making my son's order, they started to ring it up and I said we had two more to order. The kid (a guy) said "okay" and walked back to the other end of the prep line. Lexx rolls her eyes and says "You shoulda said that down here ?"

Umm... someone should've asked. Anyway...

They finished our order, but the veggies looked old and wilted, so we skipped all of them.

Disappointing.

It's hit or miss. Staff moody, prices going through the roof for lunch meat & bread. Tried new dippers......awful! Hoagies OK in a punch. Always filthy.

Was not open despite it saying open on the website and the door times says there were open. The woman inside would not even bother to tell me they were not open until 4 until I banged long enough for her to stop playing on her cell phone

I was picking up a Door Dash order for a customer here and the door was locked at 7:00…the employee told the 2 other customers inside not to let me in. Eventually I was able to communicate with her through the glass that I was picking up for Door Dash and she let me in. She said she was the only employee and wanted to go home by 8p…even though the hours say 10p. She was complaining that she had been there all day long (since 12:00p). It took her 20+ minutes to make my customer’s 3 subs. I’ve never seen someone work so slowly. I was supposed to pick up the order by 7:12p but I didn’t get it until 7:50p. Insane.

We ordered online and the app wouldn’t let us use the coupon and then when the door dash driver went to pick up the order, the door on the store #31420-0 was locked and the worker wouldn’t let him in… a friend of the employee can and she let them in and the door dash drivers got in when she went in… the employee said she was closing the store, because she had been there since noon and had no help… we finally got our order 2 hours later…never ordering from this store again… and order wasn’t fixed the way we ordered them…

I placed an order online. The Door Dash driver, calls me from in front of the store
telling me that the girl inside would not unlock the front door, or answer his calls. I tried calling the store and the lady wouldn't answer my calls either. The driver got her attention, and she explained that she closed, because she was alone. He made her call me and explain why she took $ 50.00 off of my credit card and had no food for me. Finally received my family's dinner two hours after I placed my order. Of course the order was wrong when it got here. My hats off to the Door Dash driver for his great service and help. He deserved every dollar he was tipped. However Subway of Calabash will never, ever get a chance to disappoint us again.

Their website, Google and the sign on the door stated open until 10PM. I showed up at 7:10 and the store was closed. No sign explaining why or anything. Be professional and update your hours for your customers. What would have happened if I placed an online order?
