One of our favorite date night spots! Excellent brussel sprouts and love their seasonal pastas. Very fresh well-prepared food and nice drink specials (half off bottles of wine, half off martinis).

Clean organized restaurant, The staff were courteous and professional!
I went for lunch and order Cary cheesesteak-and was disappointed. Soup of the day was great. Next time I’ll try the crab cake.

Meals were fabulous, absolutely on point. Service was slow but thinking waitress was also the bartender. 😊

We recently hosted our son and his bride’s rehearsal dinner here for 30 guests.
The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! Rebecca and the entire Academy Street Bistro team could not have done a better job accommodating us! Our guests are still talking about how absolutely delicious the food was and the outstanding the service was we received! We highly recommend!!

Needed a snack after Dracula. We had never been. The Tuna Stack was great (tuna could be a little smaller) but loved the chips.
We had two “Perfect Manhattans”, our cocktail to have. We were there right at the pre-service meeting but never felt we were gotten about. We will be back!

Stopped in for lunch. Very clean establishment and the service was great! The food was just okay. I got a chicken sandwich and the chicken breast was very overcooked and dry. I couldn’t taste any seasoning or flavor besides char from the grill. The fries were great and they have a really good house made ranch. Maybe I’ll try something else next time.

Multiple issues throughout the meal. Our ny strip that we ordered medium rare came out with almost no pink left, fully overcooked. So we asked if we could get it recooked. They wanted to take the steak and leave the rest of our plate on the table to get cold while we waited for the correct temped steak to come back out. We asked if they could take it all and just reheat the remaining food to match the steak. The manager Becca then came out and tried to gaslight me to say the steak was medium rare even though it was almost well done and tried telling us that their chef cooks the steaks to a certain temperature and that’s just his ny strip looks when medium rare. It does not. We asked for it to be cooked less the second time. She took our food back, never apologizing or acknowledging anything. We waited over 25 minutes for our new steak to come back out. They dropped it on the table and walked away. Never checking if the new steak was cooked properly. It was in fact still almost well temped, not even close to medium rare. At this point we’re starving so we just eat it. Manager never came back to check on us, server never checked on us, and a very pricey steak was never cooked properly. Food tasted delicious but overall a really bad experience. We also had a child with us and they couldn’t provide a kids menu physically but instead verbally told us what our options were. We selected the Alfredo pasta with chicken for our 18 month old and when we received our bill they charged us $20 for the kids meal. I’ve worked in fine dining for a decade and these details and experience are unacceptable for the level of dining they claim to provide and the cost of their menu. We sat outdoors and the tables were in such horrible condition and so rocky that we had to hold our wine glasses even when a server would walk by so our wine wouldn’t tip over. Even our server stated how horrible the tables were and they were over 8 years old and need replacing. Would not recommend this dining experience to anyone.

They will not seat you without your phone number. Seems very wrong.

Went here Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Sat outside and not particularly crowded. We had drinks and ordered appetizers which were all excellent. Main courses came and my daughters new york strip (most expensive menu item) which was ordered medium rare arrived a sad dry medium to medium well. Our server noted the color and took it away - replacement took 20 min approximately. The rest of the table were finished with their meals. We ordered dessert and boxed the steak for take home. A gal (assume a manager although she did not identify herself) came to the table and apologized and offered us a "free dessert". Our server was lovely and attentive throughout the meal so mixed review on this bistro. I was most surprised that the steak entree was not comped for my daughter. Just seemed a bit off considering the price of the menu items overall.

I've been here multiple times and have yet to find a dish I don't like. Lobster bisque, the short rib, steak sandwich, burgers all have been great.

The service has consistently been very nice.

Been here with my wife, with large groups and everything has been great.
