Asian Garden delivers an experience that far exceeds expectations. This modest eatery offers freshly prepared dishes that are honest, deeply flavorful, and remarkably affordable. It is a place where quality meets simplicity in the best way.
The kitchen clearly operates with skill and care. Every bite of the beef and mushrooms lunch special spoke to high heat wok cooking, evident in the slightly smoky edges and vibrant textures. The beef was impressively tender, while the mushrooms carried an earthy richness that made them more than just a supporting act. A savory sauce brought everything together and lingered just enough to make the final bite feel like a tease for more.
Lunch also came with a comforting bowl of soup, light yet satisfying. At under eight dollars, the meal felt generous both in portion and in taste. Despite feeling full, I found myself thinking about the next visit before I even left the table.
Asian Garden is the kind of spot that reminds you how good simple food can be when cooked with intention. I will definitely return to explore more of the menu.
This place has been around for a very long time for a reason. Great Chinese food. Even the Hibachi style is good. Shrimp toast is nice and greasy.
Most of the food was average at best - but the egg rolls were nearly empty and exceptionally chewy/raw on the inside layers. The pad see ew protein was incredibly stringy.
Hello all, I have been a regular here for about a year now, I will say I have never ordered over the phone but every time I’ve dinned in it’s been a good experience. Some of the booths and stuff are a bit old but that’s okay the quality and quantity of food is well worth the price. If you’re ever hungry for Asian food this is the best -James
Took a chance since we are not from the area, and boy, did we get lucky. Staff is friendly, and the food was amazing. Got the sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, and pork fried rice. Everything was great. Definitely puts other places to shame. Will be back for sure.

I’ve never eaten in and always grab to go so no comment on atmosphere. This has been my go-to Chinese food for over 10 years, even after moving to Garner! It’s hard to find good Chinese take out for those staple nights you don’t want to cook. They are always pleasant, modify if needed, fast and fair prices for food you get. I continue to try new places in my new area and keep coming back to it as my choice (close to work and parents place). The staff has always been the same over the 10 yrs so that says a lot too.
Vegetarian options: Will modify anything needed.
Parking: Plaza parking right in front.

I called to express how horrible and greasy the food was. We spent nearly 50 dollars on a meal for a birthday. Speaking with the person on the phone, she said that the we needed to bring the food back . How do you bring back three plates of food that were thrown in the trash back to the restaurant. They obviously don't care about Quality or repeat customers. Not sure how this place stays open. I would not recommend that anyone eat here. It is a waste of money.

I sometimes get sick eating the food from this location but then I'll go back anyways after a long while. Especially the crab ragoon, i get lucky sometimes and won't feel Immediately sick afterwards. Maybe it's the sauce??? Wish I didn't have to shop here so much but when life be lifing I expect someone's cooking and sale food in a clean manner and kitchen whomp whomp.
So rude, didn't get my full order so I got hung up on. Been disrespected twice, too many times, use way too much oil on food, why would tofu vegetable soup be full of oil? Maybe you should hire someone with manors. They don't respect their customers at all. If they mess up, be ready to get treated badly.
Wontons in the wonton soup were mushy and grainy. Fortune cookies were soft and not crunchy. Fried rice was bland and very dry.
