I can't say enough good things about AVA’s Rooftop Bar and the incredible experience we had there for my girlfriend’s surprise birthday party. From the moment we started planning, Jennifer Van Eron was an absolute superstar—organized, thoughtful, and creative. She brought the entire evening to life with a level of care and detail that made it unforgettable.
The atmosphere at AVA’s was magical—perfect rooftop vibes with a cozy-chic aesthetic and breathtaking views. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to help pull off the surprise. The cocktails were top-tier and the service never missed a beat.
Jennifer worked with me every step of the way to personalize the experience— even created a Happy Birthday sign for the surprise reveal!! My girlfriend was speechless, and our friends are still talking about it!
If you’re planning a celebration, date night, or just want to treat yourself to a stellar evening, I cannot recommend AVA’s Rooftop Bar—and Jennifer—highly enough. They made a special night absolutely unforgettable.
Ava has a great atmosphere. It’s a rooftop bar, so of course the vibe is pretty neat. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The drinks were tiny, overpriced, and made incorrectly. One of the bartenders couldn’t even find one of the liquors listed in the drink and ended up just giving up and adding more ice instead. It was honestly kind of ridiculous.
It's a cool concept, especially being in Cary where there aren’t many rooftop options, but the execution just isn’t there. Between the poor drink quality and the high prices, it's hard to justify going back. Great setting, but they really need to step up the service and consistency. Would not recommend as it stands.

Last night we had a huge milestone bday to celebrate and after looking at several venues I chose AVA rooftop bar. From the very beginning working with Jennifer the events manager, from planning on the date to picking the right food, the music, the drink selections, it was AMAZING. The food was great, the service was amazing, the rooftop was the perfect place to celebrate with special friends. The bartender (Jaxx) was awesome as was the manager and catering manager. I highly recommend AVA for a private event. Working with Jennifer was so easy to work with, she is amazing at her craft of event planning and she is super nice and a pleasure to work with. The night was perfect and our guests are still talking about it today. They had a great time. If you have an event to plan in the future, do it at AVA, you will not be disappointed!
