Disappointed with the way this bakery handles transactions. On a recent visit, there was an unfair accusation about an item supposedly not being paid for last time, despite everything being carefully checked at checkout. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, extra charges were added this time with no proof. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, which is frustrating for loyal customers. It’s unfortunate to see a business operate this way. Everyone please make sure to double-check receipts before leaving.

Whatever you do make sure you are paying for what you getting because they might try to charge you for even the steps you are making inside the store LOL
Recently bought some bread with date paste and sesame seeds here and it was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend.
As someone who knows nothing about mideastern cuisine, the staff is super friendly! They even introduced us to their amazing freshly made bread

This is a family owned business- the brothers who manage this store are very kind and very professional. I had one of them make six Samoons ( I hope I spelt it right) for me and I really appreciated the gesture. One of them explained the ingredients that some of the baked items were made up of. He also told me how he was related to the folks who ran the store in a different location in the same plaza. I enjoyed the conversation. The store was so clean and was so well maintained.
Today's encounter with the store owners felt like blessing.

We lived in Cary for 35 years and recently moved to upstate NY (don't judge) and when we finally ran across Baghdad Bakery several years ago we absolutely fell in love with their store and especially their bread. We still have family and friends in NC and every time we visit we always make sure to pick up a large supply of their bread. Recently we stopped by and they suggested we also try their larger tandoori bread. We decided to use it to make a pizza and wow! It was unbelievable! If you like a thinner pizza with crunchy edges you have to try their tandoori bread. You can "Zhuzh" it up with what ever fits your taste but the flavor and texture of the bread is the star. And it is so convenient to have a pizza base that is ready for your favorite toppings. You have to try it! We re heading back north soon (brrrrrr!!!) but we will be taking a healthy amount of their bread with us!
Family owned and operated. Make a terrific authentic Iraq bread fresh in store.

Mohanad was so helpful in showing me around and helping me to find what I needed. And the atmosphere is so hospitable and Mohanad even offered me a taste of a delicious coconut sweet treat. Their naan is homemade, both large round style and triangle shaped. I cannot wait to go back and browse more, especially among the exotic spices and the sweet treats!! Highly recommend!
