Such a great experience! We walked in and the staff asked if we had been there before and then offered us samples and were just very friendly and welcoming. Then our dessert was amazing! Forget what it was called but it had edible cookie dough, ice cream, and a cookie and topping and everything was just so good- and very unique! Wish we lived around here so we could come again!!

This place has very yummy treats! It doesn't look like too much from the outside but once you try some of their things, they are very delicious and impressive. The owners it seems work along their staff and are very friendly and answer any questions. I've only tried their cookies so far but they were very yummy. My sister and her boyfriend enjoyed their ice cream as well. Would come back and bring others. Curious about their egg free cookie dough too!

What a fun dessert place and a great experience for my first Yelp Event! So excited to help fellow Yelpers with a review of Mixed Desserts!! Sloan and Avery were awesome to explain their menu and offerings. We were offered samples to help us make our decision. The edible cookie dough was interesting. I have a texture issue with food, the was a crystallized crunch in it so I'm gathering it was sugar, so it wasn't my favorite but my husband enjoyed it a lot! We had the place to ourselves when we first entered but after a few minutes of enjoying our treats, the place exploded with folks stopping in to order. There were only two tables so I can see that they may have a space issue when they gain more popularity. The environment was fun and playful.

I never quite understood the rave behind edible cookie dough... I've always enjoyed my desserts baked! But I would be gatekeeping if I didn't announce that I am now 100% a fangirl for Mixed Desserts !! Imagine your favorite cookie ice cream sandwich, but instead of ice cream that quickly melts into a big mess in your hands, you have a concoction of velvety smooth cookie dough generously stacked between two fresh baked cookies!! The options don't stop there- they also serve up cold brew coffee and various other treats on their menu. Now for the cookie dough- there were so many flavors to enjoy, like red velvet and cookies and cream, but I caved for the popular flavor of the chocolate chip and brownie blend. No regrets whatsoever. It was AWESOME and not overbearingly sweet either. I'm already planning my next trip out there, so the rest of the fam can try. The area where Mixed Desserts is located is a fun little spot as well. You can tell it's a newly constructed shopping center and there are plenty of stores worth popping into if you are feeling adventurous. Theres also a lovely seating area around the center fountain if you want to enjoy your dessert in the sun!

Such Yummy choices! The place is bright and welcoming! The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Gluten free cookies were great! Very moist, great flavor and don't fall apart like other gluten free cookies do. I had an ice cream sandwich with coffee ice cream. They warmed the cookies and the sandwich was amazing! Cute dessert shop!

I was so pumped to try this place after looking at their website and being invited to a Yelp event. The location is tucked back in a big shopping center but it's easy to find. Social media fans will love the multiple photo ops with the cute wall painting and pictures. Right off the bat, the owner was super friendly and excited to tell me all about the business. He explained the menu and let me try some samples of their edible cookie dough, which is made with heat treated flour and no eggs. And it was so good! Just super smooth and almost buttery. I enjoyed the samples, but I'm an ice cream girl so I was most looking forward to a nice, cold milkshake. I ended up choosing a mint Oreo shake which was delicious! Thanks so much for a fun event and I look forward to returning soon!!

Mixed Desserts is located in MacGregor Village in Cary. The shopping center had plenty of parking and even some 15 minute spots in front of Mixed Desserts. When I walked in it was colorful and inviting with menu boards up and a welcome from the owner. Mixed Desserts offers freshly baked cookies; cookie dough; ice cream; milkshakes; sundaes and cookie sandwiches. Samples are provided of the cookie dough and ice cream. I came for Yelp event but then left with an assortment of cookies and a brownie which have been delicious. The Reeses; Snickerdoodle and Butterfinger are my favorites. I also enjoyed the cookie dough and am looking forward to go back for more as they offer unique flavors.

I ordered a variety of their cookies. I'm a big cookie fan, probably one of my favorite baked goods. Their cookies taste like they were made straight from the home. I'm a cookie purist and prefer the homemade cookie taste over those cake-like cookie monstrosities other cookie shops like to make. The chocolate chip and chocolate chunk were my favorite. The s'mores was a close runner up for favorite; the toasted marshmallow and chocolate pieces were scrumptious. I was pleasantly surprised I liked the icing on the sugar cookie, it was very fluffy and smooth and not overly sweet. Topping it all off, the customer service was exceptional, everyone there was so friendly.

This was an extremely cute dessert shop! I loved the colorful and fun set up. When I arrived, the man behind the counter was extremely nice and shared his recommendations. He also offered for me to taste test before ordering. I chose the brookie cookie dough and it was delicious! I don't usually care for the cookie dough at places like this but this one was great!!! I was thrilled to know I could keep it in the fridge for a few weeks if I didn't finish it as well. Will definitely be back to try the ice cream!
I loved this place! Very clean, nice staff and fairly priced. This is a great place that has good choices for a sweet treat. The Oreo cookie dough wich was AMAZING. It is a must try. The banana pudding milkshake was amazing and they made it with the banana pudding cookie dough it was soo good!!! We also tried a cookie and a small peanut butter cookie dough. Totally worth a try! I loved how everything tasted great and that their prices were really good. Overall this is a great place to bring the family for a sweet treat. They also had ice cream and other soft served options all that you can add toppings and cookie dough to. I will be back.

SUGAR Lovers of all kinds...THIS Place??? Quality, variety of desserts, flavor options, service!!! I was going to post pics but everyone has already gobbled up everything. I got the chocolate ice cream and cookie dough blend and it was amazing! My nephew, got the chocolate chip cookie sandwich filled with salted caramel cookie dough my daughter got chocolate ice cream with a side of cookie dough. They also have dipped cones, ice cream floats, milkshakes, sundaes, cookie dough and super rich, creamy ice cream!!! You cannot go wrong here.
