Ever since I was introduced to chicken marsala as a child, I've been traveling across the country in search of that same dish. Today, I ran across this restraunt and thought I'd give them a chance. To my disappointment, I will have to continue my search. Even though the chicken and pasta were cooked correctly, the taste was absent. Instead, it was like eating chicken and noodles in water. The bread was equally bland and stale.

This meal was definitely not a good representation of the italian cuisine.

Outstanding! Veals are flavorful and portions are plentiful. Luis -our waiter- did an outstanding job explaining specials and was very courteous and friendly. Save room for dessert. Ample seating indoors. Plenty of parking. A short drive from Raleigh on US1 south and then NC55 east. Highly recommended

I ordered the lasagna and cheesecake for takeout. The lasagna was quite average, but the cheesecake was the worst I’ve ever had - strange taste and texture. I’m actually worried I’m going to get sick later. This is the first slice of cheesecake I haven’t finished in all my years - please don’t waste $12 on it.

Service and atmosphere were fine.

Best Italian food I have ever eaten. Lasagna, veal or chicken piccata’s, homemade raviolis or a meatball sub are all delicious. Crème brûlée, chocolate suffle, or lemon cake won’t disappoint. Service was very good, atmosphere was comfortable.

For brevity:
Pros- hostess was nice and accommodating.
Busers moved quickly to remove unused dishes, provided water quickly and were overall very attentive.
Nancy was a good server and did her best, considering.
Smoked old fashion had good presentation and taste

Cons- everything else.
Sat within 1 min but took 15 for acknowledgement by a server, where there were 3-4 who probably had less than 5 tables each.
Dinner bread was half warm, half cold (assume was frozen prior) and tasted like nothing. The olive oil that came with it had some texture but zero taste. Ok cause good bread is sometimes not a good thing (fill up on empty carbs).
Tried calamari, since we typically love it and it's a good barometer for us. Super thick, no flavor to the batter or marinara. Thought being italian, you might taste some garlic, or some parmesan or anything to easily enhance the look or flavor, nope, not here.

Second drink, not on the menu, Italian Margarita. 90% ice, tasted like bad sour mix and amaretto and felt bad, so I tried to finish all 3 oz of total liquid.

Food came out, very hot plates but Luke warm food. My linguini and clams in wine/butter/garlic sauce was straight soup. After draining the extra water and asking the server, she confirmed that's how it comes. I looked at the clams, which were already pretty small but the meat inside was approx 1/5 the size of the shell and size of a pinky nail. All good, sometimes smaller means more flavor?!?! My first bite was of the larger, unshelled clam, which looked a little off but the taste was so bad, I had to grab my bowl of soup water, turn my head from the other tables and immediately reject it from my mouth, for fear of safety concerns. I thought I would try one from the shell, in hopes it was just 1 bad clam but it was just as bad.

After that my wife questioned her lobster ravioli, which did taste a little off but not inedible like mine, so I "convinced" her to push through and she did finish her plate.

Our server was apologetic, she offered something else and to remove the charge, which should be standard BUT here is why I am compelled to review, which I've done maybe 3x in my life. I asked her to ensure the head cook and the manager were aware of not just my displeasure but my concern for serving people any more of this tainted seafood. She stated the owner was the cook, he was aware and this guy, with an almost empty dinning room, didn't even come to the table to.....I don't know, apologize, assure he would not serve this to anyone else or listen to someone that was more concerned about his other patrons, than trying to be a jerk; not my intent at all.

I know some people have given this place good reviews, I am just not sure how or why. Do better and expect better Holy Springs community!

Went on Valentines Day and we were in one of the makeshift tables in the middle around 6:40pm. Our waiter was abrupt and rude, didn’t speak to us except to order. I had to send my food back due to it having lobster in it and our waiter took the plate, slammed it in the trashcan and had an even worse attitude than before. Very shocked at this service. To make matters worse, there wasn’t a manager or assistant manager on duty. Please train waiters in customer service and have some sort of manager on duty.

Bilini is a hidden gem in Southern Wake County. Their homemade pastas are exceptional, and the food is consistently excellent. The service has always been top-notch, making every visit enjoyable.

While the location might be unexpected—sharing a parking lot with Walmart—don’t let that deter you. This family-owned restaurant is absolutely worth a visit, and we need more spots like this in the area!

Parking: Large Lot. Easy to find a spot.

Kid-friendliness: Great spot for well behaved kids.

The service was fine, but the food was disappointing. I ordered the gluten-free Baked Ziti, and it looked more like a kid’s meal. It was overloaded with cheese—essentially just pasta with pink sauce and an overwhelming amount of cheese. The side salad was the smallest I’ve ever seen, and my husband’s salad had only two croutons. The lasagna portion was also surprisingly small. Overall, the meal left much to be desired.
