Chases provided exceptional service by making himself available for us.
Amazing food, great beer choices, awesome desserts. All around epic place 10/10 def going again. Ty Isaac for fantastic service!
Food was LOUSY. The service was excellent. The chicken sandwich was ok, but expensive. Chick fil A is better and 1/2 the price. Ceaser salad was soggy and gross, the chicken was not fresh...tasted like it was frozen and fried later. Too bad our server was lovely and speedy, kind service!
Two of our group ordered blonde fried fish. We were both disappointed. The batter was thick, dark brown and all fish over cooked. The white fish was flopping a rough inside the huge batter. Taste was not good. Nothing blonde about this fish.——- on a lighter note, the mozzarella sticks were good and the wedge salad was delicious.
Do not I repeat do not order the Ribeye steak. They claim it is 14 oz. I was maybe a half inch thick ordered it medium ( little pink in the middles) this steak was incinerated and the bar tender new it but served it to me anyway. The cauliflower was raw. The veggies cold. Overall you would expect to get better steak and eggs at Waffel House and they charge 31.95 for this less that advertised steak. First time I have eaten at this facility, I will not return. When I told the bar tender she got nasty with me which tells me this happens all the time.
Ordered ahi tuna salad- NOT as pictured! I had o ask for more tuna! It looks like they quartered the slices shown by in the photo maybe 2oz on the edge of the salad! The peach margarita was good and my husband ordered a beer that he really enjoyed. I’d return for drinks and maybe some apps. Our waiter was new and he was wonderful- was sh o could remember his name. When he couldn’t answer a question, he found out the answer and took the time to come back to our table with the answer!
Was on business and this was close to my hotel. My first nights meal was excellent....The dumplings were so good....and I went with shrimp scampi and it was excellent. A lot of shrimp and pasta was excellent. 2nd night I went back as there were other things on the menu I wanted to try. Since it was happy hour I ordered the dumplings again and there were again excellent. I went with the bartenders recommendation of the jambalaya.....The old bay seasoning was so strong and powerful it took away from the meal. Presentation was great but way toooo much seasoning.....service was good and friendly...overall nice place....
We went to this restaurant and learned the heat was out when we got there. There were space heaters in the area, but never turned on. We had 23 people, 2 in wheelchairs. They had one server for our entire party. She did her best, but it was a lot to handle for one person. We were not her only party. Drinks and food took a long time and was mediocre at best. It wasn't the most expensive, but I would have expected better for the mid-range cost of the meals.
moldy croissants with odd blue dye, muffins hard as rock, and impatient disrespectful staff. particularly the big heads. worked here for a few months and saw so much BS fly under everyone's radar that would NOT be okay in any other store I've worked at. especially other bakeries. but money is money i suppose.
We were in the Cary area for a family wedding and went to dinner with family including two young grandchildren. With a group from 4 to 60’s selection of an appropriate restaurant is sometimes difficult. In this case, BJs was a good decision. We had been to restaurants elsewhere of the BJs chain, with mixed results. In this case, the choice paid off. Our server, Olivia (and all assistants), were wonderful and interacted great with the children and adults. Food choices at BJs are plenty, for both young and old. We got our drinks in short time, followed by the appetizers. All very much enjoyed. Dinner entrees included Salmon Power Bowl, Bacon Cheeseburger, Santa Fe Salad, and BBQ. The children’s meals were good as well. We had more drinks, and closed out with the deserts for the young and old. All in all, this BJs exceeded quality of other restaurants in the chain, and overall a good choice for the occasion.
Restaurantji Recommends
The deep dish pizza we ordered was just ok. As a native New Yorker the pizza was sub par, but the draft beer recommended by our waiter was extra good.
Many great food choices, restaurant had a good, noisy, happy, cheerful atmosphere, good for families as well as adult groups. The ribs were to die for.
Two of us had never been here, so decided to come after a visit to the nearby shopping area. Wait was not too bad....but sat a family with a child in the bar area. Hmmm.... Waitress was good, attentive enough. I had a burger and chose some soup instead of the fries. Wrong decision...had a bowl that was maybe 1/4th full....soup was just ok, did not taste home made. Would not recommend. Burger was good, lots of lettuce and pickles, but very think slice of tomato. We got the nachos to start. There needed to be a lot more cheese on it and only a very small cup of salsa was given for the huge tray of nacho's. We added chicken which we would not do again. Wings were "just ok" for one person Chicken sandwhich was "ok" but not the best from another. Kids tenders were good. We got the cookie trio dessert and it was small, but good. Not sure we will return.....Just ok, not worth the price paid in our opinions.
We found this restaurant while shopping nearby. The line was out the door and the parking lot packed at lunch! Once seated our waitress was awesome and very attentive! We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer, they had a very light breading that I’ve never had before on cheese curds but was very good! For our meal we shared a deep dish pizza. One of the best deep dish pizzas we’ve ever had. The crust was puffy and buttery. Every bite was heavenly. Our waitress told us that the chain started out specializing in pizza in California and a lot of people don’t even know how great their pizza is. We visit Duke several times a year and will definitely be back!
We stopped by for a early snack to share because my husband was craving chicken nachos. The place was empty but appeared to be well set up for social distancing. They had a descent size beer selection (but I thought a place called a brewhouse should have lots more and a better variety) but lots of them were fruity or sour beers and that is not what we like. My husband found an IPA that he liked but after tasting the stouts they had I found them not to have much flavor so I just had water. The nachos were okay (we've had better) but the service was excellent.
