Food was overcooked, waiter was to busy to help. Food when cooked right is good. Forgot ingredients to both our meals like no cheese on the Italian Chicken Parmigiana Pasta. Didn't put lemon butter on my wife's Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. Huge misses. Chicken was burnt so bad this isn't normal for this location normally they are spot on.

Food was cold. Had to send one of the orders back which was pizza it was dry and cold just not made as it should have been and what I have received in the past.

Been here so many times, today was for a celebration. We had a call ahead. They couldn't find out call ahead even seeing it on the call logs. They sat me at a boot that the table was 8 inches from the table top. I am 6 foot tall and hitting 270 couldn't fit in booth. Then they moved us and brought drinks and never ever came back to take our order. Super bad experience! Ruined the mood for our party.

We came here two times and had really good experience. Wide menu with good quality food. We got dry rub wings, mini vegetarian deep dish pizza and Pizookie Trio! Service was really good. Loved it overall. Will be back for the pizookie.

Waitress had little personality. Chicken Parm was mostly dry as if it was under the heating light too long. Long Island Ice Tea looked and tasted nothing like it should have.

Very disappointing experience overall.

Our server Issac made my first trip to BJ’s in Cary NC wonderful!! He is very knowledgeable on the menu items and gave great suggestions. When myself and my friends return in the future, we want to be taken care of by Issac!

We were seated and left waiting for 30 minutes without ever being acknowledged by a server. Despite several staff on the floor, no one stopped by our table. We had to leave without ordering. Very disappointing experience nonetheless… (just wanted to order a pzookie:/)

While in town for a weekend getaway, my wife and I decided to try BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in Cary for the first time—and we’re glad we did. The experience was a satisfying blend of hearty flavors, generous portions, and attentive service.

🥩 Entrée Highlights
I ordered the prime rib, served with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. The prime rib was impressively thick, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The accompanying au jus added a rich, savory depth that elevated each bite. The mashed potatoes were indulgent and well-balanced, offering a creamy texture with just the right amount of toppings.

My wife opted for the thick-cut, bone-in pork chop, which was equally impressive. The portion was generous, and the flavor profile was bold and satisfying. Paired with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, the dish was a standout—especially the pork chop, which was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor.

🌱 Room for Improvement
The only minor drawback was the asparagus. While it tasted fine, they were not as plump as when I cook them at home, and some were shriveled, suggesting it may have been overcooked. It didn’t detract significantly from the meal, but it was noticeable given the otherwise high quality of the dishes.

🏁 Final Thoughts
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse delivered a memorable dining experience with standout entrées and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite the slight misstep with the asparagus, we left satisfied and eager to return. Next time we’re in Cary, BJ’s will definitely be on our list to explore more of their menu.

A colleague and I went here for dinner. We both ordered steaks, cooked medium. The steaks came out of the kitchen well done and tasted like they were reheated from the night before very disappointing. Do not recommend.
