it is hard to fathom, but the drink I ordered had no sugar in it after I confirmed it should have 100% sugar and the worker at the register confirmed this as well based on the receipt. Instead of remaking the drink or helping me at all, they gave me a cup with sugar syrup in it and told me to add it and mix it on my own. They refused to provide any implements or tools for mixing it and suggested I grab a butter knife and use that. this is unacceptable and despite coming here many times there’s no excusing this kind of service.

I was lucky enough to stubble upon this boba joint on my way to hmart. The interior was very clean and minimalistic, so you felt as if you could relax and empty your worries while sipping on some high quality teas. Upon entering the cafe, I was greeted by a worker named Grace C, who recommended me to get the miso maple hojicha/matcha (sounds weird I know, but bear with me). The combination worked surprisingly well. The savory, almost smokey, notes of the miso balanced the deep maple flavor, while the matcha rounded out the taste with a bright herbaceous burst to create an experience reminiscent of breakfast at a log cabin in the woods. The use of hojicha added a more nutty flavor instead of a herbaceous one. Just make sure to reduce the sugar to at to 50-75%. Overall, I would recommend this place, and I will be visiting in the future.
