I thought I’d give Brigs another try after several years of disappointing service for breakfast. Not sure if it’s because I am a single but it never fails that I ask to sit somewhere and the host decides not to honor my request. This morning was no different. I asked to sit near the window ( the restaurant was empty at 7:15 am). The host sat me across from and when I said I’d sit near the window she gave me an “ I can’t be bothered with people like you “ look. The waitress ignored me for nearly 10 minutes and when she took my order I asked that the Eggs Benedict be on a separate plate from the lettuce and the potatoes. Waitress looked at me like I had 3 eyes and tried to explain how the dish is served. At that point I gave up and walked out. Needless to say, the service and the Eggs Benedict at Broken Egg Cafe were just great!

I USED TO BE A REGULAR FOR TAKE OUT UNTIL TODAY WHEN I ALMOST ATE SOME UNIDENTIFIABLE PAPER/FILM IN MY BELGIAN WAFFLE! THIS IS UNHEARD OF! THIS IS SO SENSELESS IT'S LIKE IT WAS DONE INTENTIONALLY! TO THINK I EVEN TIPPED FOR SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE!

First time eating at this place, service was nice, unfortunately I would've preferred my eggs to be hotter. I ordered scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, fruits and wheat toast, small mistake, I got bacon, the waitress rectify the mishap with some hot sausage which was very tasty ?

Appears to be a local favorite. Great service, good food and a typical breakfast restaurant atmosphere. One of the few places left where you can actually get an egg breakfast for under $10! Coffee was decent, I tried the pancakes, very good, all in all highly recommended.

Been 10 years since my first meal here. Quality of food remains the same high level. Most of my old time favorite restaurants have deteriorated over time but not this one (both Cary and Durham locations). Price is very reasonable, considering the amount of food and the quality of food you get. I am so grateful and wish them the best!

Great food for the price with friendly wait and management staff every time I’ve visited. I gave 4/5 stars only because their space is a little tight to get around.

It’s our family best breakfast place regardless of new places popping up. Best pricing, selection, and friendly family atmosphere. My favorite now is the senior menu :)
