Ok. Gonna start out by saying that we do think they have great burritos, and the prices/quality beat Chipotle by a mile. Here's the issue. Portion size specifically attributed to one employee. I totally get there have to be limits on how much meat, rice, corn, etc are used. I also don't want such a massive burrito that it's impossible to eat. However, after multiple experiences with one particular employee, we've noticed that he just skimps HARD on everything. I swear he gave what equated to like 2TBS rice, definitely less than a 1/4 chicken, and not even 2TBS of corn. The portion of salsa added by the other guy was twice as much as any of the serving sizes dished out by the skimper. So to anyone who might be monitoring these reviews, please have a conversation with the skimper about his stingy portion sizes. I'd be happy to give you a description, and I can guarantee you that his reputation for holding back is already well known amongst your frequent fliers.

The bowls are top notch. Beating the competition, especially national chains, easily. My favorite is the fish protein, make sure you let them know right away, it's cooked when you order it. The staff has been great every time I've been there.

Super pleasant service and very clean, employees really care. Food was very good, just need to find the right combination for my own taste. Liked the chicken very much, ground beef was pretty good. I will try carne asada next time. Chips were perfectly light, crispy, nicely salted. Very good, I will come again

My first time ever trying Burrito Shak, and it's a great chain burrito spot. Chipotle, Qdoba, and Mo's have declined in recent years, and Burrito Shak is my new favorite chain burrito place. The burrito is very good, with a unique Caribbean flavor profile. They also give free chips and have a salsa bar with many great salsa options, including a tasty pineapple salsa. Caribbean is certainly the vibe of the restaurant, with tropical themes and reggae music playing inside. The food, flavor, and vibes make Burrito Shak a five-star experience!
