Surprisingly solid prices for the portions these days. A nice big burger, crispy fries, and a tall well-carbobated drink for $15 when I did pickup. They have spots to sit outside, and the workers I interacted with were fanastic. Just a great experience all around, improved my day.

I had never been to this Chargrill location. It was very quick. They have lots of seating outside. I wished my hotdogs would have been warmer but great service and it was very clean and organized inside the restaurant

We were passing through Raleigh with a family member who was the only one who’d ever visited or lived here and that was over 30 Years Ago! When we were looking for a place to eat after a drive someone said the name Char-Grill and she said we immediately had to pull in. She had never mentioned this place in over 30 years and we were just hearing about it now. The experience was great! You fill in 20th century style menus of what you want and pop it through the slot and then you pay and get food! The Burger was great and tasted similar to Portillo’s in Florida if you’ve ever been there. 5/5 Rating!

The Freshest Burger I've had in my life in the last 5-10yrs and I'm not exaggerating. I'll take a taste test challenge against 5 guys any day and I'll pick Char-Grill 10 times out of 10... The staff I encountered today around noon shift(09/25/25) were not only very professional kind and efficient. They were very receptive and personable too... Hands down one of the best experiences I've had in years...

Eating my lunch from there today and just left. Been making a habit of this since early spring and wanted to give them a great review. I order the half pound burger without the bun and they serve it in a bowl. I sometimes ask for extra on a couple of the ingredients and they never fail to be generous. I'm never intimidated when they are busy, because they always get the order done quickly, even though this burger takes a bit of time to cook. The persons are always friendly and made conversation! Highly recommend!!
