We were there night before thanksgiving. They had “rules” that night like, no mashed potatoes with the country fried steak, but there were mashed potatoes to go with Short Rib. They had no cheese for burger. The pork loin was super dry and not edible. We ordered one thing else but it didn't come until we were ready to leave. We asked for a Togo box since my husband wasn't going to hold up everyone for him. There was no apology for bad food or time it took. My dad had the Brazino and really liked it. Short Ribs were mediocre. Great flavor but half were too dry to eat. It's our second visit here, not sure if we will return.
Our server, Ashley was great. Very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Will seek her at our next visit.
The food was fantastic as always. However, the service was slow. It was about 5 minutes before we received water/asked for drink order from an assistant attendant. after that was another 15 - 20 minutes before " Waitress "came to table to introduce self and asked if wanted to order.
Excelente food and excelente service. The recepción guy and the waiter were wonderful. The good was great. The ambiente ver confortable. Good space between tables.
Very limited wine list. The wine we had was good, though. The food lacked seasoning and then they claimed there was no kosher or sea salt in the kitchen to bring us. They were out of the two desserts we wanted so we didn't have any.
A Memorable Anniversary Dinner Worth Praising I rarely write reviews, but our experience last night was simply too exceptional not to share. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner here, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our server, Niko (Nikole), delivered impeccable service—professional, attentive, and genuinely personable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, checked in at just the right moments, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was equally impressive. The American menu offered thoughtful, elevated twists on familiar dishes, transforming them into something special. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his short rib entrée, while I savored the seasonal pork tenderloin, beautifully paired with a dried cherry port compote. Each dish was complemented by accompaniments that enhanced the flavors rather than competing with them. We began with house salads, which were fresh and well-balanced, and ended with a shared dessert—both delightful. A heartfelt thank you to the team for the complimentary slice of cheesecake in honor of our anniversary. It was a gracious and memorable touch. We look forward to returning soon with friends.
The restaurant is very nice, nice selection of food and wine. Remind wait staff to pour a taste of your wine after opening the bottle rather than a full glass without you tasting it. Also, service between courses rather slow. The food was nicely prepared.
My wife and I were excited for a date night at Chef Palate, but service was extremely slow. Drinks took over 15 minutes, and the kitchen was delayed. We left after paying for our drinks, disappointed. Only received an apology when we asked for the check. Would not recommend.
Should not accept a birthday party of 20+ people on a Saturday night. The tables were full and not enough wait staff and obviously kitchen staff to get orders out. Table of 6 next to us waited over an hour for their food....ours came out after 30 minutes. The noise was uncomfortable. Ashley did a great job in serving us but she was harried and concerned about the wait time to get food to her tables. Food was presented beautifully and it was delicious, but we won't return on a weekend.
Food was delicious as always. Service was a little off but we should have expected that on. Saturday night. We will be back.

First time visiting Chef's Palette. The food is really good! We had apps, entrees, cocktails, and dessert, and enjoyed everything. Unfortunately, they had a system glitch on the day of our reservation and were significantly overbooked. That added to the total service time as we didn't get our dinner until 90 minutes after we sat down. Servers were very honest about the issue though and worked hard to deliver a good experience for everyone who was affected. I'm sure we'll be back with the hopes of giving them 5 stars for a flawless dinner experience.
Was visiting our son and daughter in-law in the RDU area. The Chefs Palate exceeded our expectations. Was celebrating our daughter in-laws birthday, everyone was impressed with the quality of service. Dinner was prepared & presented exceptionally well. Will defiantly return on our next visit.
Great dinning experience! Staff was polite and friendly and the food was fantastic. We tried Chef's Palette for an anniversary night but will absolutely be coming back and bringing friends.
It's pricey for our area but yummy. We ate in the dining room, which was not crowded, but the bar area was hopping! Next time we will eat in the bar, which has a different menu and a more casual ambiance.
Chef's Palette continues to be a reliable, solid choice for quality dining in the Cary/Apex area.
