food and service were great! giving 4 stars because they were out of both options (creme brulee and bread pudding) we wanted to choose for dessert and the one we went with (orange crepes) ended up only being okay.

Well don't take it wrong, they USED to be our favorite restaurant, BUT new menu is something....
So, we ordered the duck and chicken francese
The amazing duck dish, with that beautiful big dish and the berry sauce turned to a black oily dish with finger prints on it and a very salty rice and non appetizing taste and look!!!
And then the chicken came on that same plate with cheese rich and sausage in it!! Btw the chicken was tough and hard! Very unusual!
I'm like speechless, what happened to the same old nice dishes!
We are taking a break from going back there after being a loyal customer for years!
Just thought to share so people and staff know what we experienced!
We didn't finish the food, maybe had 25% of it. General manager talked to us but didn't offer to take them off of the check or not even like a free dessert or anything!

We actually had a nice evening with the friends we were meeting for dinner. And want to say right off, Kaylee our server was pleasant, personable, and took good care of us.
So why only 4 stars? ... The food was good, tasty enough, but not the "blown away" expectation for the price. We left satisfied and would not complain about our food nessarily. However, just not raving about, "Oh, how good it was". Maybe we just picked wrong from the menu for our tastes that night. There were other things on the menu in hindsight we wish we would have e ordered.

My wife and I came here today to celebrate Valentine's Day and had never tried Chef's Palette. Their site advertised a special Valentine's menu for the weekend, including Friday. However when we got there, we were given a regular lunch menu, when the site didn't say it was only for dinner. Felt like a bait and switch to get people to reserve tables (as it mentioned on the site that seating was limited) during a lunch time which is likely a slower time of day.
The food was alright. Asked for a mid rare burger, got well done, the pasta dish my wife got was overly watery.
Probably won't come back.

The food was fine. The service was great. To be honest though, over all it was a pretty forgettable meal.

Each and every morsel of food was delicious. From the appetizer to the entree to the cocktails, it was all amazing.
Our server, Ashley, was even better!

We enjoyed the food - dinner was a short rib and the Denver steak but man, service was not what you'd expect for an upscale restaurant. The table next to us actually called the manager over to complain about the slow service. It was busy for a Wednesday night but that's what having reservations are all about - so you know how busy it will be to staff accordingly. We'll give the restaurant another shot but when you talk about the service and not the food, that's a concern..........

Went here for lunch. There was only our table and maybe two others that were being served. Service was very slow, the waiter tried to memorize all of our orders, but then had to come back to our table three times to confirm what we wanted. Two of our orders then came out wrong. The food was good but not great. Very friendly staff, but not great table service. Worth a try, but I probably won't go back.

My husband and I arrived ahead of our party so we had a few drinks at the bar before dinner. Drinks were excellent, service as well. We had a party of 6. The service throughout our meal was great. The atmosphere was nice too. The food was the down fall unfortunately. We all ordered several appetizers and shared. The appetizers were the best part of the dinner. We especially loved the mussels and buffalo chicken dip. The meatballs were another favorite. For entrees we ordered duck (good but not outstanding), fish (bland), beef tips (one piece was good, the second piece was dry and overcooked), steak (good flavor), shrimp and grits (cold when served). A few of us had dessert. The only complaint was the crème brûlée was served in a deeper dish than typical so it didn’t have as much of the topping as you would normally see.
Dietary restrictions: They did make adjustments for someone in our party with a diary allergy, but the chef made a mistake and they informed us her food would come out after everyone else’s.

Unfortunately, the dining experience is marred by both poor execution and poor service. The server neglected to offer bread to our table while all the other tables received a basket. We didn't get this omission rectified until we were done with our main course, and no apology or acknowledgement from our main server for the mistake. Protein temperature was also overshot--the duck ordered medium rare arrived at the table medium well despite being pre-sliced, which should have made it very obvious to the kitchen that it was overcooked.
We went there for a special occasion & were disappointed. The waitress (young woman with long dark hair) knew it was a special occasion & made sure we had mediocre service- at best.
If it wasn't for the Manager(a shorter man with dark hair)who went out of his way to make our visit pleasant
we would give 'service' zero stars. The other wait staff I noticed were very attentive to their guest so we apparently got jipped. 🫤
I wasn't expecting fine dining but something right under it. We liked that they have a good variety of dishes on the menu- something for everyone- even vegetarian. We were both disappointed with our food though. I am not a fab cook but could have easily made our dishes at home. Nothing was the least bit impressive with any of our dishes. In fact, sprouts were not even edible because they werent fully cooked. So hard they could not even be eaten. We literally had to take them home to cook them. We didn't want to bother reporting it to our uninterested waitress.
That's just a snippet... suffice it to say we won't be back, unfortunately.
