Cilantro Indian Cafe

This was our first time at this restaurant, and we only ordered the cakes they had. The cakes with an actual cake inside were good, but the eggless ones without cake base were too sweet because they were based on desserts like gulab jamun or ras malai.

Immaculate.

I used to drive for DoorDash and was always fascinated by this place whenever I'd pick up from there. So glad I finally came in for a meal. You order and pay at the counter but they still come back and check on you throughout your meal. You can also order with a QR code from your table if you prefer or want to add more food. The staff is just so so nice. Everyone from the guy at the counter, to the owner/manager (?), to the people who bussed our table were just a joy.

The atmosphere is so beautiful and peaceful without being stuffy or unapproachably fancy. I didn't feel under-dressed in my jeans and a T-shirt but I could also see getting dressed up and going out for a really nice date night here.

I like Indian food but haven't tried a ton of different things, so being as I was feeling more hungry than adventurous last night, I got the butter chicken. It was great! I appreciated that it comes with naan, chickpea salad, cilantro chutney, and rice, as opposed to just rice. Oh, and how could I forget the mango lassi!? Incredible. I could've drank 3-5 glasses. Sadly, I did not try any of the amazing looking desserts, but there's always next time 😋

Such a good experience!! Customer service was great, they help with any questions we had and super was friendly, atmosphere was peaceful and made me want to stay longer and the food was amazing!! I’ll be back

Best Indian food in town always served with a smile. It is a casual restaurant, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. We have been going here for years, never had a bad experience. Always a family favorite.

By far my favorite restaurant - not just for Indian cuisine - in the Triangle! I tell everyone to come here and I bring them, if they’ll let me. The staff are excellent and the food is incredible. I have never had a disappointing time here. The saag is amazing and the ginger tea has become my new favorite. A samosa chaat with chicken serves as an excellent option if you want a lighter fare. 20/10 recommend.

Ordered chicken biryani. It was okay. Seems like the chef added chicken and sauce on top of the rice. The flavor and aroma were not infused with the rice. Also ordered Lamb achari, the lamb meat was very small and less. In general, the food was okay. I would look around instead of coming here.

We’ve been enjoying the delicious food from Cilantro Indian Cafe for years and it’s still just as good as ever. Highly recommended!

Best service ever. Owner will come and ask you about your experience each time. If its too spicy he will bring you yogurt. Love this plaace

The food is consistently exceptional. I usually get takeout so the new online ordering system is very easy and convenient. But, the people that work there are so nice and just make it a pleasure to stop in for a great meal.

We were invited for a birthday party, and this was our first visit to this restaurant..

I must tell you this is one of the best looking Indian restaurant with great ambience.. I was really impressed by the interior of this place.

Obviously, the food was really good.. we had buffet since we were attending a birthday party..

The samosa chat and Paneer curry was really good.. at the end they had a desert. I don’t remember the name, but it was very different.
