We dined at Colletta's last night and had one of the BEST restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. Our waiter, Ulysses (I hope I'm spelling that right), delivered absolutely exceptional customer service from start to finish. He was attentive without being overbearing, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. Every recommendation he made was spot on, and he checked in at all the right moments. It's rare to come across someone who truly loves what they do, and it shows, Ulysses made our night unforgettable.
Colletta went above and beyond to celebrate my husband's birthday. They greeted us with a gift that was tailored to his interests/hobbies (in this case, a carolina hurricanes hat). They didn't rush us, sat us at a more private table, and even gave him a birthday dessert. I have never seen a restaurant go to the level that they did for a birthday. I would absolutely highly recommend!
We were there when they first opened and it was wonderful. This time it was terrible. The Caesar salad was dripping with dressing and so salty. The bread came with some type of ricotta cheese that did not pare well with the bread. Our friend got the fish and it was very salty as well and way too much work to eat. The other meals were nothing fabulous... sub pare at best. And the fact that you had no half and half for coffee was mind boggling to me. Not a fan of whole milk in my coffee. Needless to say we will not be going back.
From beginning to end we felt like the most important people in the restaurant. The service was impeccable and it made celebrating a birthday dinner there feel magical and special. Phenomenal food, service, drinks... everything was a 10/10. Mattie and Adam are the best!
Our second visit to Colletta. We've enjoyed both times. Food is good, service was excellent, and we enjoy the ambiance of both Colletta and Fenton!!
Server was great but the food came out in over an hour and we only had one main dish each (4 were pizzas).
Coletta has great food, it is a bit on the pricier side but everything else makes up for it.
Food and service was fantastic! Only thing we didn't love was the tiramisu as they have an odd spin on it. Otherwise, food was great!
Ww we're't able to eat our entrees there due to the amount of gnats and fruit flys were in there. $150 meal we couldnt enjoy.
After trying multiple times to get reservations I finally was able to bring my daughters for a birthday dinner. Our server was wonderful, however, 2 of us had meals that were so extremely salty they were not edible. When the server offered to replace the broccolini and potatoes it only resulted in mushy potatoes drowning in vinegar which I'm sure was applied to off set the salt and the broccolini was completely burned. It was very disappointing and a very expensive night. I'm not likely to try again.

Great as a scratch foodie experience. However we sat down at 12:45 and had one appetizer but our main meal was not served until after 2 pm. It was brunch, not complicated. Three pasta dishes, one children's spaghetti and butter, avocado toast and a breakfast bagel. Should not have needed close to two hours. However, the food was delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance made the time palatable.
I love this place. I have been there twice (celebrating my 50th and now an anniversary) and each time they have given me a gift! What?! They even brought us a champagne toast. So thoughtful and generous. The ambiance and service both times have been excellent. The old fashioned was made perfectly. I could've eaten the entire loaf of focaccia with lemon whipped ricotta. My husband ordered a pasta with short rib. His portion seemed small, but in the end he decided it was perfect ( so used to eating with the eyes) I had the tagliatelle - it is served with the egg yolk chillin in the middle, so don't forget to toss it around before diving in. It was good. That portion was large - brought most of it home because since the focaccia stood no chance and took up room in my belly. We tore up the Brussel sprouts. Like quickly. I will definitely return. Still have to try their 1000 layer lasagna.
The Veal Parmigiana was fantastico!!! Only offered a few months a year. Best ever. Go get it !
The food was fabulous and the attention paid to us by Farra our sever / waitress was great. I would recommend Colletta for anyone wanting something special. Farra made sure our every need was taken care of. We had dinner with friends and they were astounded by the quality of both the food and service.
Calamari and Frisee salad appetizers were very good. Entree chicken parm good but spaghetti overcooked. Food could have been more hot. Our server, Arianna, was very nice and knowledgeable about menu items and made great recommendations. A bit pricey. $225 + gratuity for 4 people, 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, no alcohol, no dessert.
