The area is wonderful, the brewpub itself was really nice as well, the group I was with was really excited to visit for the first time! Unfortunately, the reason I have to give a one star is because of the extremely poor and rude service we received from one of the bartenders tonight. Not only was he difficult to talk to, he was incredibly rude when we had questions, and dismissive of our concerns. As a result of the poor customer service, 3 people in our group were too afraid to approach him that they decided not to order any drinks. It’s really unfortunate that we were treated this way because we were so excited to visit. If the bartender working had been even a little bit nicer to us, I’d happily give 5 stars. Customer service is important for client retention so it’s unfortunate that we were treated so poorly and will not be returning.

Five star beer, two star bartender. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Asked about the distinction between two IPAs and got a one sentence answer that I could have gathered from the description. Ideally, I’d like to hear a brief description of the hop profile or even just the bitterness. In the end I was happy with the beer. Not sure I’ll be back.
Such an interesting idea for this old home. Very welcoming. The outside areas are nice as well. We especially appreciate the owners allow 'open mic' for local artists. And of course DOGS. A terrific place to hang out. {{*.*}}

We held two events there for REBarCampRDU and it was wonderful! The staff was great, easy to coordinate with, reasonable prices and location was perfect after an event at The Cary Arts Center! Loved the space! Highly Recommend!

It's about time I upgrade this review to 5 stars. Cotton House has always been my favorite place to grab a beer in Cary, and nothing has changed about that. The vibe is absolutely phenomenal, the beers are all top notch, and the staff who work here are always pleasant. Plus, they often times have food trucks! Just check out their website and you can find out what food truck will be there on any given day. All in all, you won't be disappointed with a visit to Cotton House!
