Really enjoyed Cru! The food is perfect to pair with wine and they offer tons of wine tasting flights! They have larger entrees but we ended up having more fun tasting a bunch of the smaller shareable plates. Also very intrigued to come back and see what the Fondue for Two is all about! The whole experience was fun, the servers were friendly and attentive, and it felt like a high end date night without being overpriced. Perfect Friday night spot!

We were a party of four at a table indoors on a Tuesday evening. Had such an enjoyable experience with the restaurant manager and very helpful staff. We enjoyed two different red wines — both were just delicious! Very relaxing place located in a great spot at Fenton in Cary. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came here for a date on a Friday. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for incredible food and warm hospitality. We arrived around 8:15pm and, while the kitchen was clearly slammed (it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive), the servers and owners were attentive and kind throughout. In fact, the owner even comped one of our wine flights—which was such a thoughtful gesture and definitely not expected. The food? Absolutely worth the wait. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The lamb was perfectly cooked, the meatballs were rich and flavorful, and the pear Gorgonzola pizza was a surprising standout—savory, sweet, and totally addictive. If you're thinking about going, do it. Just maybe plan for a little extra time if it's later in the evening. It's clear they care deeply about their guests and the quality of their food. We'll definitely be back!
The kitchen that night was particularly slow. Our server was frustrated as well. Even the wine flight took 20-25 minutes to come out . The food was just ok. The tenderloin came out cold and the rest was just ok. Perhaps an off night. The staff was very friendly and welcoming so it's a shame their kitchen doesn't deserve a repeat.

I went to Cru for what was supposed to be a first date, but in about 5 minutes determined that my date was just a horrible person and ended it quickly. Thankfully, Madison and the team at Cru are the exact opposite! The date was a bust but ended up having a great time thanks to them! The food and wine are great too. Thank you Madison for turning a negative into a positive!!

OK, I’m gonna be honest. I had low expectations based upon the reviews. We were greeted by Devon and sat at the bar due to not having a reservation. Bartender was phenomenal. She was busy but attentive. Had a few appetizers and they were very good . We left chatting about when we would go back and people leaving felt the same way.
If you’ve gone before and maybe we’re sold on it, try it again. I think the new management is putting customers first and you can feel it in the restaurant and I can’t wait to go back frankly.
