Beautiful setting as it gets dark and outside lights come on. Hadxwibe fkights, 3 -2 oz glasses and shared the hummus and pear Gorgonzola flatbread. Plenty for the 2 of us (both women). Wine pours could be a bit more generous but a pretty good value.
My food was alright but my friend didn't enjoy her chicken sandwich. The service was good and the drinks are always good
It was a beautiful evening to sit outside. Miranda was the most delightful server. She made excellent recommendations and helped us navigate the menu. I was the DD (designated driver) and found the Mocktail menu excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the “Purple Rain” while others enjoyed a nicely chilled Sancerre. The shrimp potstickers were a scrumptious appetizer! Highly recommend.
In the very heart of Fenton, this restaurant has fantastic service, a lengthy choice of wine flights and a wide variety of food! From juicy Wagu meatballs served w/ a tasty marinara to Goat cheese beignets that are lightly sweetened with drizzled honey to freshly prepared sausage pizza! This “glass box” restaurant feels open & modern with a 180 degree view of Fenton's shops!
Food needs improvement. The Asian beef appetizer was barely fit for a dog. Service and wine flights are great though.
Waitress was nice but I think my husband an I went on the wrong day !! Extremely lond group was there which made the entire experience unbearable to sit an eat.. we ended up taking our food to go but food was good .. will try dining in another time
This was our first time here, a small place that sits in the middle of the road . We were seated right away, but not being wine drinkers, we ordered soda, but then found out they serve it from a can and not a fountain, so we had water. We ordered the chili shrip pot stickers for an app. They were prepared with a sweet and sour glaze, and thin slices of red chili peppers on top and were really delicious. For our main meal choices, my wife ordered a "pounded" chicken breast (lightly breaded) in a lemon sauce and served with roasted broccolini. I had the scallops, with a serving of rice mixed with spinach and roasted baby tomatoes. We decided to save a bit of room for the "fondue for 2" dessert. It good, but we should have saved more room... it included, marshmallows, strawberries, pineapple, bananas (I didn't care those), and small squares of pound cake (kept breaking apart in the melting thick chocolate fondue pot). It was something a bit unique for us to try and we enjoyed most of those items we tried. This was a nice place, but not one we would visit again.
Hank, our server, was super friendly and helpful as we tried to figure out what we should be drinking & eating! The restaurant was super clean, not too loud, just overall great ambience! Everything was delicious, too!
We had dinner on a Monday evening. The crowd was small, but that made the experience even better. The wait staff was top-level, very attentive, friendly, and made great food and wine recommendations. The night's special was a free pizza with the purchase of a bottle of wine!
It took quite a while to receive wine or food. Wine and food came out close to the same time. I ordered the limited special, chicken Parmesan, it was bland and left a lot to be desired. My friends ordered the goat cheese beignets, they were very yummy! I’d asked for a pizza to go, no problem paying for it - the chef apparently messed it up and then had to remake it. I was with a group heading to a movie so we didn’t have additional time to wait. Had to cancel the pizza. I left less than satisfied. After a less than subpar experience, there was no effort to make it right. I will not be back, nor recommend.

The food, the food, THE FOOD! Rose, our server was also exceptional. The wine… well we took the flight with no regrets🫡🤌🏾 The wine pairings were pretty great. The filet mignon was AMAZING! The scallops were delicious(wife’s choice). Date night was a success 🥹

My husband and I decided to stop by Cru on a Saturday afternoon for a quick date—and we're so glad we did! This wine bar is a unique gem, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by the general manager, and even the chef came out to check on our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. The service throughout was attentive and effortless, making the entire visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. We shared a bottle of Quilt, and were very pleased with both the selection and the pricing. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate—perfect for a casual date or a relaxed evening with friends. It was a pleasure to see a well-coordinated team working so smoothly behind the scenes. We'll definitely be back soon and are already looking forward to bringing out-of-town guests to experience Cru for themselves.
Cru is a really nice place to get some very good wine. I enjoy trying different flights and they are changing up the flights soon. The pizzas are good as are the Wagyu Meatballs. Servers are always spot on and attentive. Great place for a date night or hang out with friends.
Food was good. The service was terrible. The woman server was rude, while the male server was all over the place. My friend and I are both in high level restaurant operations and have been for over 10 years. He sincerely wanted to help, and told the bartender that the white wine fridge door was open. He said “just trying to help, we work in restaurants too.” She rolls her eyes and says “you do? Oh me too.” I said “what a good comeback” and she rolled her eyes again. I will never come back. I still tipped. What a disappointing experience for a very cute little place.

This is the second time we’ve been here, first time eating the food. Very overpriced for what it is, my husband had a $13 Caesar that came out the quality and size of an Outback side salad.
I had the chicken which was a piece of fried chicken on some broccoli for over $20.
Bummed by the quality of the food considering it’s in Fenton.
