The pupusas are good. I always order food to go and even when I get home the food is warm. They make them upon order. So you know they are fresh. Will have to try some of there other selections.

First time trying pupusas and they were amazing. Great margaritas and great service. Give this place a try.

BE CAREFUL when you eat here and check your bill every time!! they will try to write on a check with just the total and in reality they are charging more money for every plate. The excuse that I got was that everything went up in prices if thats the case they should immediately change the menu prices or else it’s just false advertisement. The server was nice and the food was good though it’s just sad that they are dishonest. siempre revisen los precios del menú y su ticket para que no les estén sacando mas dinero.

This restaurant is a Mexican and Salvadorian blend. The food: I had the shrimp, chicken, and steak plate with side a salad, rice, and bean. The rice was filling. It was fluffy, thick, and flavorful. The beans were whipped and slightly spicy. I also ordered the pork chops smoothed in onions tomatoes and peppers. It was on the Salvadorian side of the menu. The handmade tortilla was delicious.Chips, salsa, cheese dip. Name a better trio.!!!The service: Pick a seat, and the server will come to you. She was bilingual, pleasant, and super helpful with a menu. The orders were correct, hot, and timely. The atmosphere: booths and tables are available. It was a small, downhome feel. Thr arr work related mexican and Salvadorian pieces.

My boyfriend and I were in town visiting and wanting Mexican and found this place. I liked that their menu offers things beyond your usual Mexican fare. The pupusas were DIVINE. I got the Burritos Supreme and boyfriend got the Seafood Chimichangas. The shredded beef in my one burrito almost made time stand still it was so delicious. Boyfriend loved his dish. He said there was good flavor but that the seafood was still the star of the dish. I only wish we didn’t live so far away so we could come back regularly!!!!

Was stuck waiting at DMV and decided to chill here. Wow it was good. Portion and flavor was amazing. Nothing bland and only quality cuts of meat in my tacos. Will be back again.

El Cuscatleco isn't the fanciest but it's my go-to for incredible Salvadorian (try the Plato Tipico) and Mexican food. Portions are big and the staff are friendly and efficient. Takeout is also quite good but it's even better for dine-in. Highly recommended.

The portions were big and the prices were much cheaper than other Mexican restaurants. I liked how the beef was shredded and not ground. It was very moist and flavorful. Dont normally eat the refried beans but tasted great here. Well worth it to get a combination plate even if it's $1 more for dinner. It's plenty of food. Bill was under $40 including tip for 3 people.
