As someone born and raised from LA… this is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had since moving out of LA. Highly recommend, will definitely be back anytime visiting the area again!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spacious, clean, and inviting the restaurant felt. The staff at Esmeralda Grill were friendly, attentive, and more than happy to help me navigate the menu. But the real highlight was the food. I opted for the beef cheek taco, and it did not disappoint! The portion was generous, and the meat was incredibly tender, succulent, and perfectly seasoned. The taco was topped with a vibrant mix of fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime, which paired perfectly with the red and green salsas that added just the right amount of kick.
Everything about my meal felt authentic, fresh, and full of flavor; truly a taste of Mexico in every bite. I highly recommend Esmeralda Grill to anyone craving a truly satisfying Mexican meal. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The food was actually really bad there salsa was un seasoned just tasted straight out a can , the cheese dip was very bland , my chicken and pork tacos were some of the worst tacos I had I would not recommend I don’t know why this place is rated so high I would give it a 2 out of 10 only a 2 because the people waiting did a decent job and the food came out quick but I guess that’s not always good when the food comes out super quick .

The sad thing about this place is the food is really good. The problems go beyond just a language barrier. The attitudes of the women who work the front is just horrible. They are rude they always seem to be too busy to help you even though there are 4 or 5 of them just sitting there folding napkins and silverware.
Do not order food using any of the food delivery services out of 3 orders online 4 of them were wrong. No joke the got the same order wrong twice thats how I got 4. If I go in person and order the food to go it is a 50% chance it is wrong. If the food didn't taste so good I would just go somewhere else.

The best chips I have ever had! We love eating here.
Went to Esmeralda Grill for the first time today with a friend. The place had a cute vibe and the staff seemed friendly. My friend ordered tacos, and I got a Veggie Burrito to go (I was glad they had a veggie option). After waiting about 15 minutes, I headed home only to find out they had given me a Shrimp Burrito instead. I called them, asked for a replacement, and drove 20 minutes back. When I finally got home with the new burrito, I discovered it was filled with beef. I called again, this time furious and disappointed, and was told it was my fault for not specifying that I didn’t want meat in a “Veggie” Burrito. Honestly, what’s the point of having a Veggie Burrito on the menu (which doesn't mention about meat in veggie burrito) if you’re just going to put meat in it?
People should own up to their mistakes, I’ll own mine: giving this place a chance.

Pound for pound you can’t beat the value at Esmeralda Grill. More than Tex Mex, the menu is filled with delicious authentic Mexican items and the staff is super friendly.

The fish tacos here are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I went on Taco Tuesday and first ordered a chicken taco and a fish taco. They were so good that I ended up ordering the same combo again. Unfortunately, the Taco Tuesday deal didn’t apply to the fish tacos, which was disappointing since I had called ahead and was told it covered all tacos. Later, I realized the staff’s English wasn’t very strong, which likely caused the miscommunication. That said, the fish tacos were three times the size of the chicken tacos and packed with flavor, so I really enjoyed them.

Great spot for some authentic Mexican food with variety! The corn tortillas are made well here and they also have pretty large portions. I’m a bit partial to their taco platter and recommend the Al Pastor as my favorite! The guacamole is also delish! Service is pretty standard and the atmosphere is casual. It’s located in a plaza so good amount of parking and other shops to check out.
