Famous Toastery Reviews
I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this restaurant. Famous Toastery is a restaurant that offers a variety of dining options, including gluten-free and family-friendly choices. The atmosphere is described as beautiful and very homey, making it enjoyable for gatherings, whether for families or friends. The waiting staff is generally friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant environment for diners. Some customers have noted great service, particularly highlighting the attentiveness of the staff.
The food quality has mixed reviews, with standout dishes like pancakes being praised as some of the best ever tasted. However, some meals, such as the avocado Benedict, have faced criticism for presentation issues, like being served on an unpeeled avocado, which made it hard to eat. While the gluten-free options received positive remarks, there are concerns about portion sizes, with some diners feeling that dishes like hash lacked flavor and quantity.
Overall, Famous Toastery seems to be a decent dining option, especially for brunch in Cary. It may benefit from improved communication, better portion sizes, and consistency in food quality. The restaurant is usually busy on weekends, leading to a waiting line as they do not take reservations, but many have enjoyed the experience enough to return. While the interior is lovely and the service is mostly good, some customers have left with mixed feelings about their meals.
