Food was very mediocre but our waiter kareem made up for. He was very attentive, and recommended better options. Very funny and kept us entertained. Would def go back just for him ! 😆

Food was Lwk mid, until our amazing server (kareem) recommended us some meats. Other than the food being mediocre, the service was immaculate 😊😊

If you are looking for a laid back Korean BBQ experience, Gen is the place for you. McKenna, the general manager was so attentive to our table. She explained everything to us and made sure we always had what we needed. The selection of meats at Gen is fantastic, and if you are a kalbi fan, don’t sleep on the Nook Gan Sal (marinated beef finger short rib) and the Woo Baesal (premium short plate beef belly). Also, the dessert option of Hotteok is a great way to end the night on a sweet note.

At this KBBQ, you order your food with your server, and they bring it to you. Unfortunately, the time between placing an order and actually receiving the food was very long, especially because only one person was working! There were only like 3 other groups present when we went, but they all left and it was still slow. At times, it felt like we were forgotten about and we ran out of food to cook on several occasions.
Portions were small, so you need to place several orders at once, which is a problem because there is a limit of 4 proteins / appetizers placed at a time.
Atmosphere was festive with Christmas decorations, but nothing spectacular. Overall, not worth the hefty price tag for something you can do at home, considering you cook the food yourself anyway!!

This place is extremely understaffed on weekdays. There are only one or two servers instead of the usual three or four. They don’t have any premium-cut meats and they don't tell you at the last minute, and you have to wait at least thirty minutes just to get water. Each round of food takes about twenty minutes, so you can only order three times within the limited dining time. I even witnessed a young couple wait forty-five minutes just to get water. Absolutely no one checks on you, and the service is very poor.

I’ve been to a few locations before and this one was lacking in service. It was a 20 minute wait to get our drink order taken. I went to the bar to get a waitress to take our order.
Plates and dishes were not cleared on the table next to us for a solid half hour.
No one came to clear our plates. I had to ask the waitress to do it. I ended up stacking plates on the table next to us.
The food was lackluster. The service was absolutely terrible. I had to ask for the standard sides and tools (scissors and tongs).
Really disappointing experience. I was going to purchase gift cards too… now I’ll be recommending my coworkers and friends against this location.
By the way with tip it was $40 a person.

Sat down with three members, and paid for three NORMAL dinner meals. We hadn’t ordered for 15 minutes before finally being able to order, however our waiter did seem busy. It wasn’t until we had only gotten one tray of five plates of RAW meat only 30 minutes in. Bulgogi fries came out frozen and we never got our fifth plate of food. Though we only consumed barely half a plate of food before being dissatisfied with our time wasted, the manager was only able to comp one of our meals.

Like the previous review stated. Sat down with a party of 3 waited ordered food. We then waited about 40 minutes for the raw ingredients we needed to cook. We also got served a cold appetizer. We hardly ate anything so we tried to get a manager to get things settled. In the process a couple asked us about our experience after THEY sat and waiting for 30 minutes, they then left the building without a server seeing them once. They still made us pay 70$ for the food. This establishment needs some serious work.

They basically ignored our table and left us for over an hour. The waiter then told the manager that I was upset but I wasn’t. I just wanted to have a great time with my daughter.

Very nice venue. They were understaffed for lunch, but our server tried her best to keep up! Overall it's ok as the quality & flavor of the proteins weren't as good as other ayce Korean BBQ places. Need more complimentary side dishes that can balance the richness of the grilled meats. I've liked the other ayce Korean BBQ places in the area better. Would not go back!
My boy JONATHAN deserves the BIGGEST raise!!!!! He worked his butt off and gave us the best service. He was the quickest and most efficient server I’ve ever had. Hope yall show him the love he deserves.
