Have always bought from Seoul Garden since 2019 in Raleigh and now Cary, it seems its under new management, food is nowhere near the quality it was before and the dish i always purchased is not the same, less portions and it is not a chicken bulgogi as stated. Rubbery chicken as well, tossed it.

Seems as though Seoul Garden Cary is under new management. Never have I ever went to a Korean restaurant, ordered beef Korean tofu stew (soondubu), and had ground beef in it…which I also waited almost 1.5 hours for. Unfortunately, prices went up and quality went down.

Something must have changed recently. Perhaps the management changed? Service was never this bad before. The place was maybe half full. Took very long even to place an order. Never got any of our side dishes. Party of 4 ordered and we were lucky that we ordered food that we were going to share because the food came one at a time. We got the first food after a reasonsble time, but a while after we were done with the first food, the second food came. Then another while after we were done with the second food, third food came. And after finishing the third, fourth food came. If we ordered a dish for individual, only one person would have been eating at a time. I had horrible experience on my last visit. The taste of food was bit better for some of the dishes though. Oh, the price increased a lot too! (at least $2 to $4 more per dish than few months ago.) I might give this place another try just to see if it was judt that time that things were bad, but I am not sure if I really want to go back with all the price increase and complete menu change. There are better options with that price.

Finally, I tried Seoul Garden at a friend's recommendation. It was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm hoping to try it on a weekday because their lunch menu looks so good.

Went by there on Sunday, Jan 18, 2026 and it was closed for renovations. Call to make sure they have re-opened.

Had the Kang Poong Gi (fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce). It was really good, rich flavor, tender chicken, warm spice. There wasn’t as much chicken (~13 pieces) or rice (fist-sized portion) as I had hoped for $18.

This restaurant is not recommended. We ordered six dishes for four people, yet the portions were extremely small. The japchae barely contained any noodles, and overall the food quality and quantity did not justify the price.

Spacious, feels like home. Tables were well apart and quieter. Friendly staff and faster service.(f)

Fish cake & jjampong are my favorites. jjampong is flavorful. Pork bulgogi is also a good option.

Can you ask answer this how do you runout of rice. They delivered our food separately. Of all the Bandhan they only gave me a few bits and gave ne three day old lettu ce. Had np rice with my meal. I would never go there again. Worst korean food I had. Our bill was 61.7 it was an over pay. I only left a 6.00 tip. He didn't even want to leave that.

We ordered a beer and a seafood pancake to start with and the waiter wouldn’t give us the banchan side dishes, telling us they will only come with main dishes while tables next to us all got the banchans without any main entrees delivered. We waited over 30 minutes for our main entrees while watching tables that came after us got served everything. Waiter kept on making excuses. I ended up cancelling all the main entrees because we did give them a chance to prove themselves and they didn’t. There are other way better Korean places in the triangle area and this is not it!
