Dynamic bartender very kind and genuine made the experience! Food was decent just got an appetizer and chips and salsa were quite good. Just went there for a couple beers and a wrap on the day. All in all good experience

Never again. Just never again. I don't leave bad reviews but I'm making a point to leave this one. We placed a takeout order and I arrived when scheduled. More than 40 minutes later than expected, I finally have the order with not a single acknowledgement or gesture. I'm curious what I paid for and certainly have no idea what I tipped 20% for to be ignored for nearly an hour with zero update or care that I was waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I could have gone to Whole Foods, bought groceries, and cooked dinner in less time. At least then I would be spending the time with my family.

The food was very good but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the nearly hour long wait to pick up takeout.

They have a dedicated fryer for the chips so they are gluten free! Lots of gluten free options on the menu, plus fish tacos! Their margaritas were outstanding, too. Great service, good vibe.

The food is well worth, but expensive for the portions served, but the bad experience occurs when the manager or someone who ask in each table how is everything, start to pick up all plates meanwhile I was feeding my daughter of 3 years old, every single father's know kids eat to slow. And well the guy just came and pick everything without even ask. Pd. every single Mexican cuisine offer aguas Frescas (horchata a least) ??? No just soda and water

Great evening with four of us. Margaritas were great and the special, the quesadilla and tacos were superb.

We go to Gonza in Cary monthly because the food is always excellent. There are two reasons for knocking the rating down slightly. The first is the fact that they no longer carry Red Oak beer, a local favorite. The second is that they let a lot of humid air into the restaurant and the booths are under an uninsulated air conditioning duct. The outcome is raining condensation onto these tables.

This is our favorite restaurant for delicious Mexican food ?
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen good & genuine service in North Carolina. Most places are so disturbed and bothered to serve you, especially at restaurants, but I never experienced this at Gonza, the waiters are always so happy to serve you and make sure that you’re satisfied with your order, and the food is PERFECTION. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years, but today we were waited on by Lauren W. super patient and fantastic service ❤️?? thank you!!

I went with my friends about two weeks ago. It was the first time we had all been together in years. We ordered a couple pitchers of margaritas and a couple of appetizers. The guacamole and queso didn’t come out until our food was ready. We were barely done eating and they started taking the plates out from underneath us. We didn’t even have time to eat the guacamole or queso, which they cleared from our table without asking, when it was more than half full. We were there for only 30 minutes with all of our food cleared. It felt like we were being rushed out. So much so, that we asked the waiter if we were allowed to stay and finish our margaritas. He said we could, but the damage was already done. If nothing else they shouldn’t have charged us for the guacamole and queso.

Really good, just thought it was a tiny bit expensive for what it was.

Queso was really good got chicken tacos, not enough shell to fit all the contents!! Good though!

Great upmarket Mexican and Latin American foods. I've been to each of the 3 Gonza's locations and have never been disappointed with the service or food. If you're near the area and want good food you need to stop here.

Parking: Parking at the back of the plaza area is the easiest way to access Gonza's
