The place was open even for new years day. The food they served was really amazing. This place is a must visit if you want to try new Nepali and Indian food, specially the mango yogurt. This service was amazing too....
My son went with some friends. He said the food was good for him. His friend had a nut allergy and asked the front desk. The guy said it's marked but he didn't see any signs after paying. He ate rice, pita, and ice cream for $17. They said the place felt very dirty. Stains on the seats and table. Very disappointed.

Way over-rated restaurant. Low quality food .
Was very disappointed in the buffet variety.
The buffet is back! It’s awesome!
Th/Fri/Sat/Sun lunch buffet is a definite must! Great for a team lunch and plenty of good food.

My wife and I visited Himalayan Grill & Bar for their lunch buffet. The food was a bit hit-or-miss; I enjoyed the curry selection, though some lacked flavor. The goat curry had great sauce but mostly bones, with very little meat. They also seemed to be struggling to keep up with rice refills, possibly because they were preparing for the dinner rush.
One major issue was the sanitation. My wife had an unpleasant experience in the restroom, where she saw a roach in one stall and then had another crawl up her leg in the next. This incident left us both uncomfortable and ready to leave.

Sad to say as much as I have enjoyed this place in the past, after today’s lunch buffet experience I will not be back. The buffet was very sparsely stocked, and no effort was being made to clean any of the many spills that were on the buffet as well as on the floor, so overall it made for a very unappetizing experience. The tandoori chicken is the only reason there’s a second star in this review.
Speaking solely regarding the buffet:
I've been a few times now and seen no improvement in quality. The food is lukewarm, which makes it pretty disgusting for me. The slap in the face is to then be charged over $15 for the slop. If you enjoy cold to lukewarm food, yay for you. As for me, I'm done!

Himalayan Grill in Cary has rolled out a new menu that shines with exceptional dishes. The chicken tandoori is a standout—juicy and packed with flavor. The goat sekuwa is perfectly grilled, offering a smoky richness that's hard to resist. Don’t miss the goat bhutan, which is equally delicious with its unique blend of spices. The warm ambiance and attentive service enhance the overall dining experience. A must-try for anyone craving authentic Nepali cuisine!

We went for buffet. Not much options for vegetarians. Samosa is very tasty. Should include more starters. Fried rice is not good. Overall ok experience. However taste wise they have to improve. Price is $15 .

Went here for The lunch buffet on Saturday. It costs 15.99/person and they offered lots of options. They also provided the vegetarian options. I love the momos, chicken 65, biryani, but not the naan. It was a bit hard to chew. They have a bar as well so you can order your special drinks. The staffs are nice and friendly. They set up many tables so don’t have to be worry.
