Kashin is good for a date night or dinner with a friend. However, there is limited seating so not good for groups. Additionally, I did find the pricing to be a bit steep compared to similar restaurants. Food was pretty good, but the salmon roll and sushi roll with lemon I got were nothing special. I did get the matcha cheesecake, which was also good but had a little too much matcha powder dusted on it. Service was good, as well.

I really enjoyed dinner here! I got here at about 5:10 and within an hour they were busy. The customer service was amazing! And the food was too. Literally the best katsudon I’ve had in NC! Will definitely be back to have dinner again soon!

Got delivery. Ordered the chirashi dinner. Was very disappointed. Seemed like I got the scraps of leftover fish as half of the sashimi was inedible- couldn't even chew the pieces- and had to throw it out. There were maybe 6 pieces of fish total so was not a good meal- almost $40. i don't know if they don't care as much for delivery customers but I'd never go there in person.

Finally had the time to dine in here. We’ve been getting to go poke bowls for a while. Tried some new dishes and no surprise their other dishes were delicious. Great environment, great food. Really enjoyed getting to sit down and dine there.

Kashin is always top-notch! Date night for us and they did not disappoint. Sushi was excellent and the staff was super attentive! I regret not trying the special curry dish, but my heart was set on sushi! Go taste for yourself and enjoy this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere in this dinning room radiates the feeling of "at home".

The edamame, pork gyoza, and miso soup were delicious. The Oyako Don was good, but lacked flavor. I kept having to put soy sauce in the bowl. I feel like the chicken would be better if breaded in panko. The waiters are very kind, but service is slow. I understand that it takes time to cook the meals, but the waiters were slightly forgetful.

Awesome awesome awesome. Walked in the door and to my right was a table over 8+ Asian men having dinner. That is a great sign. Place is small and cozy with typical Asian restaurant decor. I set at the sushi after a spot was vacated and cleaned up. I experimented with a Ten-Don Meal which was delicious and a Aburi Salmon roll that was possibly my favorite American style roll ever. Oh my goodness. It was delectable. I would have gotten another if I had not ordered the Ten-Don. Great little family owned place. A definite stop next trip.

I am so glad that I found this little gem. I found this on Yelp and I am so pleased. This is one of my favorite type of restaurants. The kind that you would never know how amazing it is from the outside. Nestled in a shopping center, you walk into a sushi heaven. The sashimi quality was top notch I had the lunch sashimi which was served with their house salad with ginger dressing (absolutely perfect dressing). It was also served with a miso soup and white rice. There were 8 nice size pieces of a variety of chefs picks. Service was great and place was clean. I loved it and would be back all the time if I lived here. I think this would be my go to lunch spot.

Best Japanese food in the area. Tonight was the fourth time we've eaten at Kashin, and once again everything was great. It was busy on a Thursday, but we were seated fairly quickly by a friendly server. The Miso Ramen was delicious - great broth, tender pork and lots of tasty bits. Tempura was the best I've ever had - the batter is fluffy and light and the shrimp literally melts in your mouth. The Chicken Teryaki arrives on a sizzling platter with a generous amount of tasty sauce and is tender and juicy. Honestly never had a single dish that wasn't better than every other Japanese restaurant we've tried. We'll be back.

Food is good but they cannot handle running two restaurants: sushi and poke. Took 30 minutes past the time my takeout order was supposed to be ready for me to get my food. Will find another sushi place for takeout.

Low-key Japanese joint with stellar food. Very relaxed. Great date spot. Reasonably priced. Sushi, saki, and noodles.

This is an authentic gem in the greater Cary food scene. Makes the trip to Crossroads worth while. Many unique menu items, especially good for sharing a selection of appetizers. Good Sake selection too.
