Food color on all food items. Name says Kathmandu and Nepali foods never have food color in them. Chowmein looked like came from Red planet Mars as it was very red in color unlike the real chowmein does not have this color. I ordered goat curry, chowmein and chicken biryani. Goat curry Nepali style was on the menu but I felt like I ordered Indian style too oily, food color too and taste less. Same goes to Chowmein. Worst ever Nepali food ever had. Thank god, I did not order Momo.

Worst food taste ever.
We ordered jhol momo. We asked for medium spice level. The server told medium spice will be very spicy. We said fine. It turned out there it was not at all spicy. No salt. No taste.
Next we ordered tandoori paneer tikka. Same story. No spice at all. No taste. Tandoori panner tikka was no were prepared in tandoor. It was just fried paneer. No taste again.

As an Indian who’s picky about desi food in the U.S., Kathmandu Kitchen absolutely delivered. The flavors tasted like home, balanced masalas, proper tadka, and spice levels that aren’t watered down. Juicy momos, deep, well-spiced curries, and naan from tandoori. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan choices, warm service, clean space, and fair prices. Easily one of the best Indian/Nepali spots in Cary.

I love this place and the decor inside. We go here monthly when we are craving desi food and it NEVER disappoints.

I absolutely love this place. I've tried many different South Asian restaurants in the area and nothing is as good as this place. 10/10 for their momos and palak chicken.

We did take-out, but dang that is good food! When you order spicy, they make it spicy! Wonderful flavors.

Hands down the best Vindaloo in the triangle. Spice levels are to order, and the appetizers are excellent.

We ordered food at a MEDIUM spice level. And we got it crazy level spicy : like a 12/10. We mentioned the same to the waitress and she gave a pointless and vague response that made no sense. I usually love spicy food but it was intolerable even for me.

The bathroom was dirty and the floor was sticky to walk .

I wouldn’t visit again.

I ordered Chicken momo, Chicken Choilla and Chicken Pakodaaroumd 7:30 PM Sunday and unfortunately, the Chicken Pakoda was the worst I have ever had. It was extremely hard and unchewable.
