I've always found the tea at Kung Fu Tea in Cary to be overwhelmingly sweet. It's like they've mistaken their tea recipe for a candy-making guide. I reckon about two-thirds of each cup is just sugar; it's like drinking a liquid sugar cube. I don't have diabetes, but I imagine if I did, each sip would feel like a rollercoaster ride for my blood sugar levels. I’ve been coming here since they opened, I remember it being around 2017-2018, this place has grown a lot. In the last three years however, I’ve spent almost every week in here. I love trying out their endless menu of options and their various promos that come with goodies and limited time availability. Despite the small store, it seems the new owners are trying to update the decor and allow for more seating. They are constantly changing things up to better the customer experience....

Although some people consider KFT lower tier than the other boba places around here, I think the boba is always solid. I got their Caribbean breeze slush this time and it was decent. Tasted like icy punch. My favorite flavors in the past have been their peach green tea and guava black tea. Chia seeds are also a nice addition.
