Unlimited refill of chips! Yay!!!
One of the server messed up our order - we wanted shrimp but he gave us a talapia fish - fortunately it’s yummy and end up being a dish that we enjoyed!
Went back the second time, and wanted the same fish they served wrongly previously, but they gave us a different fish dish.
Major communication issue, but food is good overall.

Had lunch here and it was FANTASTIC! Not necessarily "authentic" Mexican food (they use a lot more cheese here than traditional and I like that!), but incredible. Had the steak chimichanga and rice with chicken, they were both awesome. Also, the horchata is great!! Will definitely be regulars here.
UPDATE: lived here 4 years now and we are indeed regulars!! This is one of our favorite staple restaurants around. It’s affordable, delicious, and SO fast! I swear it’s faster than going through that $&#* McDonalds drive thru that is in the same shopping area.
UPDATE 2: lived here 10 years now and we still LOVE “Los Tres”!! They are so fast with service at just about any time. We often do take out and occasionally dine in. It makes the area feel like home to have such a long-running, incredible place with really good food.

I came here to pick up my TGTG order. Someone who looked like boss ask me to wait a minute and chatted with me when other was packing my order! Everyone looked nice and the decoration of this place is great.
Just look at the pictures! WOW!!!! Do you believe that I only spent $5.4?! I will definitely go back again! Thank you all!

Food was pretty bland. Salsa was probably the worst salsa ever. Tamale was frozen, came out hard. Food portions were decent and service was super quick. Nothing spl, may not come back.

Please commend Gustavo and Hugo for their excellent service, we had a large door dash delivery for a birthday dinner and two meals were missing. Not expecting anything, I called within 2 minutes Gustavo and Hugo started re making the meals and delivered them in their own car faster than any DoorDash/uber eats has ever come.
That is a prime example of making a situation right, I would never routinely expect that because mistakes happen but what an impressive experience.
Please don’t start asking them to hand deliver orders! Just tell them great job when you see them! …and #doordash - you owe them gas money!

This sucks! This was our go to spot for many years in West Cary. Sadly, under new ownership...the food is mediocre quality, taste is bland and the service is very slow. This is a bummer now we do not have a local mexican spot in the area. Do not expect this place to last in the area for too long!

Always good Mexican food served here. I recommend dining in and not ordering takeoff though, as most of the negative reviews are from takeout. But the staff is friendly and always polite. The new menus are very hard to read. I think they intentionally made the prices the smallest font possible against a light background so you won't be sticker shocked. There isn't a price for queso, it just says "current market rate". Pretty clever if you ask me from a business owner stance. Menu aside, never had a bad experience here.

This used to be our Go To place for YEARS, but over the last few months (new owner?), it has gotten really bad. Food is not as good and service is very slow--plus higher prices. On two different occasions (yes we really tried to stick with them!) the food actually smelled like cleaning products. Hoping things get better with them, but we will be moving on.
