If I could leave zero stars I would, chicken was raw, still had to pay full price. Staff seemed unconcerned and was on her cellphone practically the whole time.

First off, don't be put off by the exterior. This restaurant is in a strip mall by bass pro, and look like your typical cheap takeout place. That being said the food was fantastic. I've never had Peruvian before, but will definitely come back. The Yuca fries were crisp with a super tasty sauce, the beef saltado was delicious, and the fried rice I got was like no other fried rice I've ever had. Flavorful, with several types of meat, and little crunchy sprouts. Plus the spicy sauce they bring to the table really elevates everything. Service was ok. We weren't checked on other than to bring our food and one drink refill, but other than that its well worth the visit.

Very good food. The atmosphere isn't the best. I will take good food over great ambience.

Chicken so salty, it's a heart attack waiting to happen. Not to mention, it tasted nothing like Peruvian chicken.
Then a food prep fee of 3%; just took the difference off the tip.
I'll never stray from Alpaca again.

I went for lunch and had the Escabeche de pescado, a side of plantains and for my drink I was offered a sample of the Chicha Morada drink when I inquired about it. The meal was fantastic! I ate it all so fast, I am embarrassed but I love good food! The host was excellent, very kind and helpful! And the chef/ chefs did their thing with the food! Will will be returning when I am in town!

My family and I went here on a Saturday around 11:30am. The waitress/owner was slightly rude to my husband when he tried to place the food order with the drink order. We ordered the whole chicken with 3 sides. The lady who I believe is the owner came back a few minutes later and said there were no whole chickens, just legs, and that it would take 40 minutes before the whole chicken was ready. We said leg/thighs were ok and she brought out chicken that was extremely dry and hard. We complained about it and she brought out chicken that was better, but not that good. The tostones (fried plantains) were a strange color and had no flavor and looked old. At this point we just ate what we could and left. Will Never go back there again. Disappointed because this place wasn’t like this a few years ago. In looking at other reviews, funny to see them talk about the napkins because the ones we got were from Hard Rock Cafe 😂 Don’t really care about that, but wish the service and quality of food were better.

Delicious Peruvian cuisine. The Lomo Saltado is delicious - strips of steak with fried rice and vegetables and papas fritas (french fries). Empanadas are small but delicious. A little pricey but it is a lot of good food. I don't like ceviches but they have lots of those as well for connoisseurs of that type of dish. My girlfriend is from Colombia, has a sister in Lima and Peruvian food is her favorite. Very authentic!

Came in on my lunch break never been here before the waitress at the counter during lunchtime was very polite. She gave me samples of the juice explained to me what they are how they were made that they’re fresh. I ordered my food to go, but it was so peaceful. I decided to sit sit down and eat …The food is amazing. The empanadas are freshly fried they are so light and so flavorful ….. don’t miss out on this place

I've lived here for 2.5 years, and I finally made it over to check this restaurant out. I got the Lucky 1/2 with yucca and rice+beans. The food was excellent! They really loaded up the rice and beans. I cleaned the chicken as it was so moist and fell off the bone. The prices are a bit high, so def not an every day sort of place. But I will most definitely be back - probably with guests.

My family and I enjoyed the food, especially the fried rice, during our recent visit to NC. Thank you!

We had the 1/4 chicken and a Peruvian traditional. We loved our waitress as she helped us choose our dishes. We had the yuka side and guava cheesecake. All the flavors were great. First time we had either Yuka or guava. I'm afraid I'll have to search ohio for guava for my wife. Lots of uplifting quotes used for artwork.
