I stopped in here by chance and I was glad I did! Delicious Peruvian cuisine cooked by Chef Mesero.

I’m so upset. I just placed an order 3/12/26 @ 5:50pm, costing $50, I go to pick up the order and place is locked and closed. Google says this place should be open, the hours on the door says this place is open and their website allowed me to place an order for food!!
I have a feeling this used to be an amazing place, maybe they’ve just lost their way. The taste of the empanada had great flavor, but it was cold inside. The place looked a little ran down and empty but with a little effort, I’m sure it could be an amazing spot again

I am sure the chicken and lomo salado is very good here, but I would come for the seafood. One of the few ceviche places in town and some very good cooked seafood dishes including whole fried fish, octopus, and shrimp. They have several good rice dishes including fried rice and paella. Big parking lot, good service when dining in.
Good food, ceviche and empanadas were excellent. Friendly service. Will eat here again.

As a latin american with a degree in peruvian cuisine this place is the best in NC. Taste precisely like home and the portions are huge for the price. The family owned stablishment also grows their own herbs for making the salsas. It is great to have a piece of home at home. Rock on hermanos!!!

Only people there, food took a very long time
Ordered empanadas, Supposedly chicken.
Opened both up to reveal essentially a potato mash with a few shreds of chicken, not even real pieces of chicken. Very bland and inedible. They were pre packaged from freezer, deep fried and very dark.
Then ordered the steak salad, which was more well seasoned. Meat is barely tender and this also took about 15 more minutes to come.
French fries were pretty bad soft and barely cooked. Also, likely frozen pre packaged.
When I took back the empanadas, waitress argued with me saying “ they are not American, that’s how we make them”.
I have eaten at many different Peruvian style restaurants and have never encountered bland potato chicken mush.
I have not sent anything in a restaurant back in years. It’s highly unusual for me.
this place is called lucky chicken and has 0 chicken for one. secondly i had an emergency and had to leave. we offered to pay for the drinks as we did feel bad and hadn’t ate any food it wasn’t even brought out. the manager gave us attitude for needing to leave and said “why order if you have things going on” she then wouldn’t let my fiancee look at the screen at all while he was paying she she tried to charge him for everything. we tried being polite but she was very rude and ended up tipping herself without our knowledge DO COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE SCAMMED AND MISSTREATED

Excellent shrimp and pasta. Very generous with the shrimp. Friendly staff. A little pricey for that dish in my opinion. Lunch specials were less expensive.

I was able to use a Groupon for take out and had the BEST lomo saltado I’ve ever tried! Delicious! A bit pricey if you don’t have any coupon.

Second time eating here. We were in the area and decided to try it again. It was completely empty’s We ordered the half chicken with beans and rice and plantains. The young server brought out two half dark meat servings I went back in and they said they ran out of white meat. The chicken was some how very oily yet extremely dry. We couldn’t eat parts of it because of how dry and tough it was. The beans and rice were plain but the plantains were fine. Then there is the added food prep fee and almost $4 for a fountain drink. The women’s restroom smelled rancid almost like rotten eggs. I’m not sure if any of the men that work there ever clean it but they definitely should look into it. We will definitely not be giving Lucky Chicken a third chance.

Poor service
3% food prep charge
18% automatic tip taken without our knowledge for a table for 2
Our order said it came with 2 eggs , they only gave us one and then we had to argue for our second egg

NOT recommended. Experience the high attitude of the older lady behind the cashier as distant and served my order in boxes while asked to dine in, and after that she wanted to bring the plates. Very disrespectful!!
