First off, don't be put off by the exterior. This restaurant is in a strip mall by bass pro, and look like your typical cheap takeout place. That being said the food was fantastic. I've never had Peruvian before, but will definitely come back. The Yuca fries were crisp with a super tasty sauce, the beef saltado was delicious, and the fried rice I got was like no other fried rice I've ever had. I went for lunch and had the Escabeche de pescado, a side of plantains and for my drink I was offered a sample of the Chicha Morada drink when I inquired about it. The meal was fantastic! I ate it all so fast, I am embarrassed but I love good food! The host was excellent, very kind and helpful! And the chef/ chefs did their thing with the food! Will will be returning when I am in town!
Delicious Peruvian cuisine. The Lomo Saltado is delicious - strips of steak with fried rice and vegetables and papas fritas (french fries). Empanadas are small but delicious. A little pricey but it is a lot of good food. I don't like ceviches but they have lots of those as well for connoisseurs of that type of dish. My girlfriend is from Colombia, has a sister in Lima and Peruvian food is her favorite. Very authentic!
