Saw online that there was plenty of reservations available, showed up and the hostess said it was a 45 min wait. Do not go off of the times available on their website, call for a reservation.

Other than that, the food was incredible and they have a fantastic wine menu. Everyone loved their pasta dishes and the bruschetta was also very delicious. Would visit again!

I took my wife here for dinner before going to a concert. What a fantastic experience! Everything was top-of-the-line. The service was matchless and the food superb. My wife had the sea scallops and I had the shrimp and salmon, both were delicious.

Our server, I believe his name is Gray if I’m not mistaken, was fantastic! We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary yesterday with our newborn in tow. Food was delicious, wine was fabulous and dessert was mouthwatering! We will definitely be back!

How I’ve lived in the area for 12 years and I’m only now discovering this incredibly tasty, warm, restaurant. The food is outstanding. The service is excellent. The ambience is delightful. What a nice place!

Food was good and service was fine - $50 a person for salad, lasagna, 2 cheesecakes and a beer is steep considering the portions are fairly small

Loved this restaurant. First time there. I got one of the specials- Beef Short Ribs with garlic mashed. So very good. We had Brooke as our server. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable, helpful, sweet and attentive. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals. Will definitely go back.

I’ve tried Lugano on two separate occasions and was disappointed both times. The Lobster Pasta is nothing special and has hardly any lobster in it. The Rigatoni Bolognese is overly salty and has link Italian sausage in it which I’ve never seen. Usually you mix half ground Italian sausage with the ground beef. There was so much of the link Italian sausage it ruined the dish for me. I won’t be returning.

We made a reservation at Lugano Ristorante, Cary for 6 people and mentioned that it was for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately, no one seemed aware of it when we arrived. I even reminded the receptionist about the birthday, but it wasn’t acknowledged or mentioned during our visit. It’s unclear why there’s an option to note special occasions if it’s not taken into account.

On the positive side, the food was fantastic – the bread, appetizers, pizza, and pasta were all delicious. The Peach Sunshine mocktail was tasty, though the mojito tasted more like lemonade.

The ambience was beautiful (5/5), and the overall service was decent, though staff started cleaning nearby tables and floors about half an hour before closing, which made the end of the meal feel a bit rushed.

Overall, it’s a lovely place with great food and ambience, but I wish there had been a little more attention to detail for special occasions.

We made a reservation at Lugano Ristorante, Cary for 6 people and mentioned it was a birthday, but no one acknowledged it—even after reminding the receptionist. Not sure why they ask for occasion details if it’s not noted.

That aside, the food was excellent—bread, appetizers, pizza, and pasta were all delicious. The Peach Sunshine mocktail was great, though the mojito tasted more like lemonade.

Ambience was beautiful and service was fine, but staff began cleaning tables and floors about 30 minutes before closing, which felt a bit rushed.

Great food and atmosphere, but room for improvement in attention to detail.

For lunch on October 24, 2025, My Sister Kim and I both ordered Gluten-free Rigatoni Pasta cooked with a Marinara Sauce consisting of a tomato base, and a hamburger meat base! My Sister Kim also ordered Gluten-free bread with a hint of🫒 Olive oil! Angel Linwood Grey Bradford was our Wonderful Waiter! Angel Grey was Very Nice, Very Helpful, and Very Knowledgeable in answering our many questions about Gluten-free Options available at Lugano Ristorante in Cary, North Carolina 😀! The Beautiful Decor of this Fabulous,Upscale Restaurant has a Definite Classy Italian Theme 😀 exceeding famous Italian Restaurants in Italy 🇮🇹 😀 ! At 4:00 AM on October 25, 2025 I researched the Family name, Lugano tracing it back to Breathtaking Lugano, Switzerland 🇨🇭 on the Italian Side of Switzerland 🇨🇭 😀!
