We assumed this was going to be your typical RDU sushi experience. Nope. The food here was every bit as good as what I had in Japan. We ordered several dishes to try it out (udon, tuba tartare, chirashi, and a few specialty rolls) and all of them were absolutely delicious. I'm really looking forward to experiencing their omakase ?

Food and service is excellent. The atmosphere is not bad, the only thing I’m not that used to is there are no windows, which made me a little uneasy at first. Also the wooden chair I was sitting in was really not comfortable… but maybe it’s a particular artistic design that’s just not my type, other people may like it.

My dinner this week did not live up to the expectations set by my first visit. Also, I was really looking forward to the miso soup, but it was no longer marked as gluten free. The server explained that it is not "completely" gluten free. Did I get glutened months ago when I went?! Would not recommend if you can not eat gluten. I do not trust them anymore. Save your money and go to Sono.Dietary restrictions: I would not trust them with gluten free

One of the most magnificent dining experiences of my life. The quality, the richness of the flavors, the atmosphere, everything just blew us away and took a few steps far beyond even the very best experiences with sushi in our past. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Some of the highest quality sushi & most elevated dishes I’ve had in a while. The dumplings were in a divine truffle sauce and the lobster was absolutely delectable. Can’t wait to try the other M restaurants!

Highly recommend the nigiri omakase - it was incredible, definitely worth the money and very enjoyable if you get from the bar.restaurant was a bit cold at the bar.

Service was slow and food was not good. Miso soup was cold. Vegan bento box took forever to get and not good. Sushi left a very metallic taste and gave both diners a very bad stomach
