Made a reservation here a week ahead for a special occasion and was super excited to try it out. Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived fifteen minutes early and didn’t get sat until around 8:30-8:45 but Being that I also work in the food industry and it’s Covid times, I didn’t see it as a big deal. I do wish I had snacked before hand though! They did send edamame to our table for the inconvenience once we were finally sat though which was a super nice and unnecessary...read full review
This place is the real deal for sushi lovers. Seaweed Salad w/ Ginger Dressing, Dumplings, M Lobster Special, Tuna Roll. All incredibly delicious. Service was incredible in every way, as well. And we dined next to Ashley Christensen. We congratulated her as she was leaving and she stopped and chatted. Told us we could not be in a better spot for dinner and that she has eaten here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. She could NOT have been cooler. Great vibe. We will be back so often...read full review
Excellent sushi, reasonable lunch deals and very high quality food. The service, even when busy, is fast and friendly as well.

M Izakaya offers a cozy and inviting ambiance that enhances the dining experience. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes, with standout items like Loaded Tots and XO Fried Rice receiving high praise. Guests have enjoyed the Denver Steak and Spicy Pork Belly, and the overall food quality and attentive service are appreciated by diners. The restaurant also offers a pleasant sake selection and maintains a small, comfortable setting, making it a good choice for exploring a variety of flavors. Recent reviews mention the octopus, fried rice, and tater tots as highlights, and some guests appreciate that the restaurant has good acoustics, making conversations easy. The team is friendly and willing to accommodate guests, although some have noticed that the food quality is not quite at the same level as when it was M Test Kitchen, with reports of overcooked Loaded Tots and longer wait times. Still, the food remains good, and many look forward to trying more dishes like wagyu hot stone cooking and the Little Gem Salad, which was previously a favorite. Overall, M Izakaya continues to be a welcoming spot with delicious dishes and attentive service.
