Lobster rolls are $5 more then the website says. ($28) they say they are closing dec 31st 2025 due to increase prices on Lobster. Lobster rolls are really good but not $28 good. It's a snack size for an adult .

Lobster was tough. The Mac and cheese cold. Perhaps the owners should just close this location. Prices are too high. Maybe this a small family but there is no excuse for not getting it right it's not a restaurant with dozens of options.

Was very excited for the lobster mac n cheese but I received a very small portion with almost no flavor in the noodles and the lobster smelled terrible, like it had gone bad. Super disappointed, whole dish smelled and tasted rancid and I had to throw it out after 1 bite.
At Waverly place Cary. The place was empty of customers. Ordered classic lobster roll a small cup of clam chowder and one canned Coke. The roll was small but the taste was not bad. The chowder was soured and not edible. The atmosphere was dingy. The price was $45, which was far too high for the overall experience. Do NOT plan to return.

We arrived at 6:45 on Oct. 2, 2025. There were 3 opened lights flashing and all the other lights on. The door locked. My husband tried to open the door. Finally a man came to the door asking us what we wanted. My husband said that we would like to eat. He said they were closed. Closing was at 8 and it was 6:45. We ate somewhere else. When walking back by at 7:45, someone was there stating they had placed a $70 order and no one was there to fill the order - but the $ was taken. Will never go back. The place looked dingy and so did the man that answered the door asking us what we wanted.

Went there for lunch (well at least I tried to) last week. They were supposed to open at 11am. I stuck around until 11:15. But, no one opened the shop

It's a shame we used to go once a week in Raleigh and Cary. The mac and cheese cold in the middle. Two lobster rolls were tough and o e was great and tender. The last couple of visits to Cary we were the only folks eating..give it a try next week***...September 26th update***..better visit but still disappointing in my opinion they won't last past December God bless..

Lobster must be the price of gold because not much Lobster was on the roll. Not worth the price.
I just took a visit at this Cary location. I got the Connecticut Lobster Roll Bar Harbor style. It was so delicious! Lobster meat was plentiful, tender and juicy. The bun was toasted and buttery. Will definitely come back!

Garlic shrimp roll was amazing. We got complimentary clam chowder and lobster bisque. Clam chowder was my favorite, great food and amazing hospitality. Would definitely recommend!! (Lobster grilled cheese was a 10/10 too)
I was excited to try this place. Lobster mac&cheese was cold in the middle leading me to believe it was just heated in the toaster oven. Tasted good once heated up. Lobster rolls were small and not enough to be considered a meal -at least they were warm. We walked in to an empty store, no music, and awkward atmosphere. Not worth over $60 worth of food. After reading reviews I understand that they are short staffed and seem to be struggling - however that is not an excuse to blow off bad reviews. Wishing I would have read them beforehand. And I wish the owner best of luck and a change of perspective.
Really tasty lobster rolls!!!
I forgot that this place is here because it's a bit far from where I live and don't get up this way much. Thankfully, I remembered today after being disappointed that I forgot about their competitors' food truck being in my neighborhood last night.
We hit it at a slow time, I guess cos we were the only ones there. Once we finished, more people started trickling in.
So, we both got the CT lobster roll with butter. It was filling, and the flavor was good. To be honest, this venture was a comparison for me since I really love crab legs and have eaten for years. I think I prefer crab more because it's sweet, which I don't find lobster to be. I know they have crab, too, so may try that next time.
The gentleman who took our order was nice, and our food came up quickly. I don't know if the meat arrives already out of the shell to make the prep quicker or if it's just that easy to steam up.
It was not what I expected for the price. The crab meat is fresh and good. I was not impressed with the lobster roll.
