Came in to the employee sitting down & that’s okay but I wasn’t greeted or wasn’t told they would be there with me shortly. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and still nothing. The rolls are good. The service I got was horrible.

Lobster rolls are authentic and similar to what is offered in New England states especially Maine. Not as generous on the lobster meat though. Soup was not very good. Limited selection.
Restaurant was smoky with poor ventilation. Restrooms needed wiping down. Furnishings are basic.

It's pricey but worth it in terms of quality. I was able to make three separate meals with the roll that has 50 percent more lobster using two coleslaws, which made enjoying the great flavor more economical for me. I was very satisfied with each separate meal that I made.

I heard about this place from a client and decide to come from Fuquay Varina to give it a try. I was so excited to try it out because the pictures looked amazing.

So I walked in (nobody was there except one guy who was on his computer or phone can't remember). No greeting or anything. He walked over to the register upon my entry (still didn't say one thing). So I'm looking at the menu I can only imagine how confused I appeared to be, considering this was my first time here. He never said, "hey have you been here before" "can I help with Anything" nothing. At this point I'm slightly annoyed but really wanted to try it. So I proceed to order. He took my order (still no words for me) rang up the food did not tell me what the total was or anything. So I took out cash, and guess what? He can talk!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. He says, "we can't take 100 dollar bills, but if I had exact that would be better. I was going to pay another way but I thought about how terrible the Customer service was and I was like that's my sign to not spend money here. So I told him it's was okay and began to walk away. You know he didn't say a word. Not even bye have a nice day. I got half way to the door and asked him if he was the owner and he said, well I am part owner from there I told him how horrible of a job he did making my first time inviting and I won't be back. He made that experience so trash. Not to mention I was about to spend 31.61 (saw that for myself on the screen) anyway, Walked over to shake shack and was greeted before I could get past their trash cans on the inside. I may consider tryin the other location but that one, never again.

Maybe it was because we came in on Sunday but the place was empty. We ordered Connecticut lobster roll and it was fine. Have tasted better. The lobster bisque was so watery. I threw it out. The drink machine was not working for the Diet Coke, and the girl that was working. Didn’t know how to change it. All in all pretty dismal meal. One and done.

First time visit when we both had a hankering for lobster without the fuss. I had the classic roll (cold) while hubs had the deluxe (warm with extra meat). We both had cole slaw as a side, tasty but a bit coarse for our taste. We were both satisfied with our choices - the lobster was moist, nicely seasoned, and tender (must be one of the secrets to their success). We ate outside since it was a beautiful day. I was not attracted to the metal chairs, inside or out (don't care for these anywhere). No frills stop with tasty lobster rolls.

Terrible food there was maybe 1 spoonful of lobster and a box of undercooked tater tots. Spoke to manager named Skylar who was useless and rude about the situation. I will never purchase from this location again. A total waste of time!!!!!

I am usually satisfied with the service and food here however be mindful when eating any food that you have not prepared yourself. I came here yesterday. The place was empty outside of the one employee. He was sitting down playing on his cell phone. I ordered my food and he placed one glove on, the other hand bare. He started to prepare my food. It was okay that he was only touching my food with the gloved hand but a customer came in and wanted some direction. He touched the customers cell phone with both the gloved hand and bare hand. After assisting, he went back to making my food with that same glove and bare hand. I politely asked if he could make it over and explained that I asked because you didn’t wash your hands and you are touching my food with your bare hands let alone with that same glove you just touched a customers cell phone with. He responded sure, removed the glove, washed his hands and placed gloves on both hands and began preparing another order. I’m glad that he didn’t give me any trouble however, should we really have to tell someone to wash their hands before preparing someone’s food?!?Cleanliness is very important when dealing with food preparation. There are enough things out here causing people to get sick. You (Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls) wouldn't want your restaurant to be one of them. Please coach your employees on the importance of food preparation and cleanliness.
