Awesome dinner as always! Perfect martinis made by Will. Great wine recommendations too. The Caesar and Gorgonzola salads are incredibly good. Everything is great. We enjoyed the trout and burrata pasta. Yum!
Great service and excellent food. Will go again! Options for different dietary preferences.
A foodie destination. Outstanding server Ben Voodoo special is a must along with the pork cheeks and the beet salad
This was our first time here. The restaurant is smaller but nice and cozy. Service was very good and food was fusion and executed nicely and delicious. Definitely recommend for you try it at least once!
Exceptional service as when I had a question as to the ingredients on the drink menu, the bartender came out and answered all my questions himself. He ended up making a special version of one of the standard cocktails and it was amazing! We had the calamari and brussel sprout starter. Delicious. Best calamari in town. Next we had trout and a pasta dish. Fresh ingredients, perfect flavors. For dessert, the tiramisu. Every bite was amazing. Waiter was attentive and professional. Great dinner, exceptional staff.
It was amazing . I highly recommend it. And Ross is amazing . He is so friendly and entertaining. I will definitely be back
Maximillians Grill is probably one of the most underrated under the radar restaurants in Cary, NC. It's frontage is very subdued thus people likely don't drive by and think it would be a good place to eat. The food is very very good. We had the faccatia appetizer, a shrimp and grits entree and a crab with pasta which was on special. All were every enjoyable. Servers were on top of their game, clearing empty plates quickly and keeping water glasses full. Only not perfect comment was that cheese cake dessert was a little dry, but still tasty. Taramasu was very good, tho.
I can't say enough about Maximillian's! My boyfriend and I have been there three times in the last two months, and every time, it has been fab. The drinks are delish (thank you, Ross!)., and the food is absolutely delicious (thank you, Margie)! We were there last night, and my boyfriend had the special (yellowfin tuna), and he was blown away—it was superb. My crab pasta dish was also superb. The ambience is wonderful— we love the blues music! If you haven't been at all or in a while, you must go! And keep an eye out for their once a month evenings with music - I believe on a Thursday night. Thank you Margie and Will! Cheers, Yvette
What a lovely meal! It was our 3 year anniversary so they gave us sparkling wine to start. We got the beet, bacon, & goat cheese salad and crispy brussel sprouts to start. The salad was a little light on bacon, but otherwise delightful. The brussels were some of the best I'd had in a while.
For drinks I got something with vodka and blackberries that was moderately sweet and super refreshing. Then I got a spicy tequila drink and that thing had quite the kick, but I liked it.
For entrees I got Homage to the Pig and my partner got the confit duck leg. The presentation of both was very appealing and they tasted at least as good as they looked. The pig cheeks were melt in the mouth tender and the grits were a perfect texture.
I'm not a huge fan of duck or carrots but I still enjoyed the small amount of duck I had.
I gave the food and service 5s but feel justified going with a 4 overall due to atmosphere. The outside of the place is surrounded by planters full of dead plants. It was an odd esthetic choice.
Moral of the story, definitely eat here...just maybe do it inside.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious - I've had most items on the menu and they were all delicious. Kitchen is very accommodating for your preferences and dietary needs.
The lamb chops were fabulous, beet salad very good and the flourless chocolate dessert was a hit. Our waitress was delightful, attentive and very knowledgeable about menu. A lovely experience.

The calamari is absolutely the BEST anywhere! We all crave it and look forward to it every time we visit. It can't come fast enough so I order it before even looking at the menu. Last night 4 of us devoured 3 orders. ? The service was impeccable as always! Maximillians is a neighborhood gem!
