Fantastic and completely authentic regional Chinese food. Basically a takeaway place with about 6 seats. Xi’an food is hearty and delicious. Not super spicy.

The big thing is this: from the super-streamlined ordering to the flimsy plastic containers to the freshly prepared food in a nondescript strip mall, this place feels more like China than any place i have been to in the triangle. Highly recommend. Had the tea eggs, spicy noodles, and mutton stew. The spicy lamb pockets are just ok. Filling was great, but the flat bread usually has more flavor (and fat) in my experience.

Still, happy this plac is 40 minutes away. I would be in TROUBLE if this place were closer.

The staff was very nice and the food was great. I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere cause it's more like a take out restaurant. It only seats 6 people.

A fantastic hole in the wall spot, with excellent flavors and dishes that are hard to find in the area. Just 1 small table for dine-in and a few counter seats, but that just means you can make a picnic of taking this food with you to any of several nearby parks within 5-7 min drive. Also love the name Miss Chang An which is a clever bit of wordplay, since 念长安 literally means to be missing/remembering/yearning for Chang An.

You know a restaurant is authentic when all you see are people from that culture. Even the menu was their language.

We have been eyeing this spot for a while and I'm so glad we finally stopped in. It's a small dining space, so don't count on bringing more then 4 people to eat in together. For 2 people it was perfect. We got a beef bun, the spicy broth rice noodle, and spicy oil splashed noodle. Each dish was incredibly fresh and had so much flavor in each bite. The spicy oil splashed noodles are for garlic lovers!! 😋

The food was horrible. The chicken onion had so many small bones in it you couldn’t eat it and the flour noodles were just gross. I do not recommend this restaurant. Now the staff member who greeted us was very polite!

Menu is much more limited than pictures lead you to believe.

The young guy working there was rude and incompetent. Ruined everything.
(First time I was there had a much better experience with the girl working there)

There is much better Chinese food in the area.

The quickest description I can give is that I was using my chopsticks to grab every remaining sliver of RouGaMo pork once I finished my noodles. The last time I had cold flour noodles + rougamo was in Beijing, and this took me right back. We just moved to the Raleigh area and this will be in the monthly rotation, if not more frequent.

Food is decent, has the homemade touch - noodle soup is very savory
Bit pricy considering the portion size ($30 to be full for 1 person)
