Genuinely one of my favorite places in Raleigh. I’ve never had a bad experience here, the food is amazing, and the service always exceptional and memorable. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Mookie's is a reliable favorite for our family. We're not sure how it isn't packed every time we come to eat. The loaded latkas and the Soho veggie sandwich along with the kids cheese burger and sweet potato fries are some of our favorites!

I SO want to give it 5 stars because the food is great and atmosphere is nice too. My only bad marks were lack of seating and tight distance between tables. For service, for lunch the tables were mostly full and only 1 waitress so it took almost 15 minutes for her to get back between dropping off our drinks and taking our food order. Food arrived quickly and was good. Not exactly what I ordered, so another very minor mark against service. It also took over 15 minutes to get our checks after we were done eating. If they added another waiter or reduced the table spacing a bit, it would be more enjoyable. But since their bar takes up so much room inside, it’s understandable. Will definitely return tho.

I live a good half hour from here but I’ll make the drive just to come back! Great service, nice patio for sunny days, and the food was so fresh and tasty. It came out fast and was obviously JUST prepared right after I ordered. Fries were delicious and the French dip was gooey with cheese and had a good amount of roast beef.

Didn’t like all the fruit flys flying around the bar area while eating. It appears the bar needs a deep deep clean. The drains I can just imagine.Otherwise enjoyed the food and people there.

The cornbeef rueben was a soggy tasteless mess. Fries were not crisp. Carrot cake tasted stale.Will not be returning. Young man in the kitchen flinging his long hair around while preparing food. No hair net.
We LOVE Mookie's. The food is delicious and always *very generously* portioned. I'm a huge fan of the house made pickles and often get them as take out. But what really makes this place special is the staff. All of the staff (including the owner, who is always there!) are so nice and really make that extra effort to provide good service. A wonderful edition to the neighborhood.

great food options for all dietary needs and great food my faves are turkey sandwich ,pastrami,chicken salad(which i get a pint of every week to keep in frig) desserts are awesome love the new york cheesecake which could serve at least3 the best. Love this place and the staff is awesome.Like that the owner is present and friendly to all.Yes, I am there at least 3x a week...so much to choose fromDietary restrictions: great food for low carb diets including huge salads and other veggiesParking: lots of free parking handicapped and even a space reserved for food pickupKid-friendliness: kids menu is awesome very affordable and lots to eat even a healthy drink included
