New China Chinese Restaurant

Gave this place a shot, and I regret it. Honestly, I’ve had microwaveable Chinese dinners from Walmart that blow this out of the water. The so-called fried rice was barely edible — hard bits of rice, no flavor whatsoever, and it felt like they just rushed it out without even checking if it was cooked. I brought it up calmly and respectfully, but the fact that something this poorly made was served at all is pretty unbelievable. It shows a total lack of care in the kitchen. This place isn't worth the drive, the time, or a single dollar. Won’t be coming back.

I went to New China in Cary, NC yesterday. Beef with Snow Pea was absolutely delicious, always good, also my favorite Hot & Sour Soup was so fresh, they cooked to order. I really recommend!!!
Last but not least, you can order smaller portion for certain dishes. Price is very affordable 👌

Very nice and quick place to get some good Chinese food. I got the veggie mei fun and it was good. Not too spicy or overly seasoned just right and definitely enough to have for another day too. Definitely recommend

I ordered general tso’s chicken and it was hard and inedible. I will not be ordering again. A waste of money. All I could eat was the rice and I drove across town to patron their establishment. Highly disappointed and do not recommend.

Never received my order from uber eats.

I got beef and broccoli, and I couldn't chew the meat. Not one piece. I don't know what that was about, because this is my favorite Chinese restaurant

Horrible on UberEats! Ordered 4 egg rolls, received 3. Ordered General Tso's chicken, it was very old meat with canned sauce that wasn't spicy like it's supposed to be. Mei Fun was overboiled, underseasoned, few shrimp, some kind of tough jerky like pork strips, so-called chicken that tasted like no chicken I've ever had. No beef in the House special. Ordered brown sauce on the side, they changed my order cost to add $1.51 and didn't include the sauce. Luckily I got half my money back by disputing all of this. This place is awful! 🤮

Even by the low standards of strip mall Chinese places, New China is disappointing. The "shredded beef with szechuan style" was neither shredded nor szechuan style. Instead, I got floppy beef slices and miscellaneous vegetables drowning in the kind of bland, boring, vaguely sweet brown gravy that I'd expect to encounter at a cheap Midwestern buffet. I've had worse, so this gets two stars, but I won't be eating their food again.

One of, if not the best Chinese place in Cary. And I tried mostly all of them. I’m from New York I have high Chinese food standards.

Ordered #84 Chicken and Brocoli with plain fried rice with egg roll as it states on the door dash menu. Called the restaurant to let them know it did not come with an egg roll. The lady on the phone stated it does not come with an egg roll. I explained to her the menu says it does on door dash. She hung up the phone. Poor customer service and poor food quality. Will not be going back. Please update your menu if the items have changed.

I CONTINUOUSLY order from New China and no experience has been worse than the one I've had today - The person who answered the phone hung up in my face TWO TIMES! And all I was trying to ask for was a fork and plate - also no onions because they don't cook them long enough for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting cheap Chinese food to be 5 star, but DO BETTER!

Delicious Chinese food. I ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice. It taste like the Chinese food in NY and it's really hard to find one down here that's similar. Nice staff and fast service.
