I’m leaving this review before I even get my food, but the shop was out of pumpernickel bread, and they called me immediately to let me know and gave me alternative breads to choose from. REALLY appreciate the customer service and going the extra mile to reach out, especially when it was a DoorDash delivery service! Definitely will be coming back to NYC bagels! ?

Bagels across the board are ALWAYS incredible. Recent Phila/ NJ transplant, and these are the best around. Their crumbcake is perfect, just like home. Service is spot on, and the coffee will certainly give you that jolt for your morning activities!

This used to be my favorite spot and trying to find a replacement has been difficult. My past 3 orders were wrong which is why I've made the decision to move on. :( I know mistakes happen, we are all human but it's incredibly frustrating when 3 times in a row you're sent a completely different sandwhich and the sandwhich you receive has onions that you're allergic to.

I got a bagel with cream cheese and lox and it was absolutely delicious! Although it was crowded, the people hustled (unlike Brueggers), they also didn’t skimp on the cream cheese or lox (unlike Brueggers). This five star review is well deserved!!!

Love this place! Bacon cream cheese is salty, so don’t get it with an everything bagel or another salty bagel. But the bagels are delicious and I love the offerings of different cream cheeses.

Their food is fine but the set up makes no sense. The pick up line is the same as the order line. The line can get long and I have waited 20min just to order. We come here often and normally avoid rush hour. I tried a pick up order to save time during rush hour. I asked someone at the counter if I had to wait in the long line to pick up and they said yes. Don’t see a point in ordering ahead. After that they got my order wrong which actually happens often. Then I had to wait again where they just took the bacon off, added the extra egg, handed it back cold still missing the cheese. Then after they added cold cheese. When home, warmed up and it tasted a lot like bacon which I do not eat. At this point the same cold sandwich has been through how many hands with unknown contamination. It’s just a bagel shop, I don’t understand how there are constantly so many errors. Very un NYC of you!

I’m originally from upstate NY and it’s been a challenge to find a proper everything bagel in NC. This one had garlic and salt, which most don’t have in the area. It was fresh and tasted great with the perfect amount of cream cheese. My only gripe is the size… it’s a little smaller than an average bagel from NY. But that won’t stop me from returning. Excellent counter service, fast and friendly.
