First and foremost, I want to say that I’ve loved this bagel shop since moving to the area. I’ve brought visitors here and even ordered food for them because I truly enjoyed supporting this place. Unfortunately, today’s experience has left me with a very bitter taste, and I’m unsure if I’ll be returning. I placed my order and waited patiently. When I heard my name called, a white woman with blonde hair, who had arrived over five minutes after me, jumped up to grab the bag. There was no confirmation of her name, order, or receipt… just a “have a good day!” I approached the counter to ask about my order, since I had just heard my name. At that point, the staff began to panic, realizing they had given my food away. One of them told me it was a “mix-up in the kitchen,” but I had just watched him hand my order to someone else without checking. Instead of apologizing directly or correcting the situation with care, I felt brushed off. I’m a paying customer, and while I understand that mistakes happen, the lack of acknowledgment or accountability made me feel dismissed. I’d hate to assume racial bias, but I cannot deny that the experience left me hurt and uncomfortable. I truly hope the management addresses this issue, because this shop has been one of my favorites , but respect, fairness, and proper service should never be overlooked.

Coffee is good but they cheap out and serve coffee in styrofoam cups which is not good for the health.
Called and asked if they had lox bagels because I’m not a local. They said yes. So I drove over expecting to get a bagel with a phat shmear, salmon, capers, the works; then they hand me this nonsense. Didn’t open til I got back to where I was working, and was so incredibly disappointed. Ate it only because I was hungry and didn’t have time to drive back. I mean, what the heck? What’s y’all’s problem?

Incredible bagels — just like NYC! Perfectly crisp outside, soft and chewy inside. The everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was amazing. Super friendly staff and fast service. A must-try if you love real New York–style bagels!
