The bowls are bland and don’t come served with a lot protein. Sushi was okay. I’ve had better. On a positive note - the spicy tower appetizer was amazing. And the plate it was served on was beautiful.
Went here the other day, very good sushi. The food was overall was good. Got the fried Gyoza. Which was good. But it never blows my mind, it’s definitely a good little snack app that. It was fried very well. I also got the Hamachi Kama. Aside from the bones, which I fully understand it comes with, the fish meat was cooked nicely, you get a decent amount off the head. As for the sushi rolls I got the Sweet Carolina roll and the Snap Dragon roll. I would say the Sweet Carolina roll was better with the bit of crunch to it. But the ingredients are super fresh and each sushi just melted in my mouth. The atmosphere is very nice, small venue, our server was also very nice, at the time was super busy with a packed house. I would recommend this place.

I came in with low expectations. A little hole in the wall sushi and Korean restaurant in a strip mall. There’s a lot in this area as well - what could this one offer over the rest? Well it turns out I cannot exaggerate enough how impressed I was; this immediately becoming my favorite in the area and topping M sushi and other popular sushi places.
My expectations were completely blown away. The freshness and quality here cannot be overstated enough.
I love the lowkey style atmosphere inside. But when it comes down to the cut of fish, the freshness and portions of sashimi and nigiri, the pairing of flavor in their specialty rolls, and more - this hits beyond any other sushi place I’ve been to.
I highly recommend chef Kim’s roll (and a bento overall) if you like cilantro - I never would have suspected myself to be such a massive fan of pairing cilantro in a roll. Thank you for introducing me to this combo, it was so delicious. The crispiness of the tempura was so well done. Everything texture, taste, and mouthfeel felt so well executed; absolutely salivating.

We’ve been loyal, returning customers to Oiso for years and have always appreciated the variety and quality of the offerings. However, we’ve noticed a decline recently—particularly the disappearance of Korean dishes, which were a big part of what made Oiso special. Now, with only sushi available, the experience feels limited and disappointing. We truly hope to see the return of the diverse menu we once enjoyed.

This was my first time eating here. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the Crazy Crunch and Hawaiian Rolls and edamame. Will absolutely come back next time in town.

Now THIS is what I call sushi. Everything about this place is perfect even down to the staff. They deserve the world here. The sushi chefs are precise and develop beautiful rolls with an abundance of flavor. I would go here everyday if I could. Thank you Oiso and continue what you do!

I loved this restaurant! The food and service were great. The selections were great, and they allowed you to customize your sushi rolls that were on the menu. I strongly recommend it. We will be going back!!!!

We were told to wait 5-10 minutes but ended up waiting 30 minutes just to be seated. When we tried to order, we were informed it would take at least 2 hours to receive our food. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable. Please improve your service and communication with customers.
