A wonderful story book feel with diversity welcome vibe. Oatmeal Raisin and cranberry almond cookies were fresh, delicious! 2 dirty chai teas we both agreed were a spicy treat to hit the with road with. So glad we chose this spot instead of where we planed GPS to.

I am so blessed to have reached out to Once in a Blue Moon Bakery for my wedding. My husband and I are not sweets people, but Once in a Blue Moon could convert us. The cake was delicious!

My husband and I were budgeting a lot and cake was a place we planned to save money. I had a strict budget, and Once in a Blue Moon Bakery worked with me to get a budget friendly cake option that was beautiful and more importantly delicious. I had reached out two a few bakeries, but Once in a Blue Moon Bakery was the most helpful, most responsive, and friendliest.

Our guests have raved about our cake. My dad has repeatedly stated that our cake is the best wedding cake he had ever had. My husband and I have already recommended them to anyone who will listen! They have several options to select between. We picked strawberry and lemon for our mousse and it was amazing. Plus, they provide an anniversary cake as well! I cannot wait to get more next year! Fun story: I live in Cleveland and my niece lives in Cary. She just got her Ph.D. and I wanted to celebrate her, so I Googled “best cake bakery in Cary NC” and Blue Moon popped up. I ordered a vegan chocolate cake, asked for a mortarboard and pink and yellow roses on the frosting, and they delivered it! She was ecstatic and they made me look good. Win-win!

This bakery has been a go to for us with all of our special occasions. They make the most tasty items and provide a delicious vegan cake. Most recently they went above and beyond with their customer service. I’m very grateful to the team for all that they do.

Love this bakery! That have a great selection of sweet treats to grab on the go, but they are known for their cakes. Absolutely delicious! Various flavors, and they are wonderful decorators. This is where we get our family's birthday cakes every year. It is a cute little shop, but it can get a little crowded inside.

Once in a bluemoon has been a favorite for me and my family for many years as they cater to vegetarian and vegan requests. And their cakes are very well made. In April I had a vegan cake made that was just fantastic.
This review is for a cake I bought yesterday that I had not pre ordered. I requested for a 6 inch cake what they had available, preferably vegan. Turned out the only one they had was a 6 inch and it looked great. We bought that in the afternoon, promptly refrigerated it and cut the cake late evening. Turns out it didn't seem fresh and felt stale. The icing was separated from the cake. So I wasbt able to offer that to the guests.
I was surprised as the store is known for their quality products. And called them following morning. They clarified that the cake we bought was Gluten free and it is normal that it doesn't retain freshness for long.
Knowing this upfront would have helped make the decision on whether to buy or not.
They only offered 50% refund. I now have a cake in the refrigerator that I need to throw away that uneaten and only get half my money back.

Their staff and service in general is great so I have still stuck with a 3 star for service. Cake was not good this time, unfortunately

Excellent quality every time. Tons of fun flavors to choose from. I exclusively get cakes from Blue Moon ever since I discovered them.

Perfect in every way, come without a plan, leave with every pastry and coffee wish you've ever had granted for a reasonable price that will make you feel happy.

Amazing selection of mouth watering cakes and goodies. Have a tough time selecting. Display counter looks great always and counter staff are very helpful. Too bad they close early each day. Wish they can extend their hours.

Did you know they do pies??? You have to special order, but they are great! Their gluten free cupcakes are wonderful.
