The manager of this restaurant is by far the rudest and most disrespectful person I’ve encountered in customer service. I simply asked for a water cup, and she immediately rolled her eyes, sighed, and told me to wait—while another employee kindly handed me one right away. When I couldn’t find the water dispenser and accidentally chose an unlabeled option, she started yelling at me, even as I explained it was a mistake. She then stepped out of her area just to tell me she owns the restaurant and that I don’t need to be there.
Frankly, if you can’t be respectful to customers, you shouldn’t be working in customer service. It’s incredibly unprofessional for a grown woman to yell at a teenager. I’ve also seen others have similar negative experiences with her, and it’s clear even her coworkers are fed up. This restaurant would be much better off without her.

Food is literally shrinking but prices increasing. This is the breakfast sandwich for $6.

How unpleasant that you put the bread uncovered (without any protection) on top of the soup, in addition it looks like it has been bitten; as if that were not enough, an unprotected spoon. I don't understand why you can't offer spoons with their plastic like all restaurants, how disgusting this situation is.

Absolutely Awful – Never Coming Back
This Panera Bread in Parkside, Cary, NC, is an absolute joke. The staff were shockingly rude, condescending, and acted like they couldn’t care less about providing decent service. The food? Don’t even get me started—ridiculously overpriced, laughably small portions, and the quality was downright pathetic. It’s like they’re trying to cut every corner imaginable. And the cherry on top? They don’t even toast items that are meant to be served warm. Who runs a café like this? This location is a disgrace to the Panera name. Do yourself a favor and stay far away—you’d get better food and service at a gas station.

The manager had a very bad attitude. I was for a water cup, and while I was receiving water, she shouted at me that she's looking and to not steal soda. It ruined my appetite because I actually ordered food. I can't finish my sandwich now.

I placed a drive-through order today at 7:54 AM and did not receive my food until 8:03 AM, nine minutes later! While I sat in the line, cars piled up behind me. Since the window to the kitchen was open, I yelled "Hello??" several times until someone finally came to the window to take my payment. At that time I remarked "I've been waiting for nearly 10 minutes" and she responded with "I'm sorry, we are very busy right now." There was no appreciation for the fact that customers are on their way to work/other time-sensitive appointments. When she returned to the window with my breakfast sandwich, I said "there needs to be communication with the customers waiting in line" and she just said "I'm sorry."
This afternoon I called and spoke with a manager (Caitlin) who apologized but did not offer any resolution of the problem. I insisted she explain how this situation would be handled differently in the future, and she said she would "speak to the team". I'm not convinced much will change, so I personally plan to avoid this Panera's drive-through, especially when in a hurry!

I see the business is suffering and also I see cutting corners very very wrong when economy is the way it is now cutting corners you end up losing customers. Sometimes the business has to take loss in order to survive a half a sandwich not enough for a kid to sell for breakfast with the price that it’s unacceptable. I will never come back and I will tell all my friends and family about my experience.

The customer service here is AWFUL.. I dont know who the store manager is but she needs to fix it. Try being a customer and find out. The staff is very rude.. One time i ordered bread and went to pickup after confirmation, the lady at the window did not like me telling her, can I go to the pick up window directly as I have a pickup, she schemed her way into saying that my order was placed at the very second someone picked the last one and guess what the bread was still showing up online hours after I left. She forced me for a refund.. I wouldnt report it if it was the only one, several times they have displayed bad service. Reminder, this is people service business, you need to be nice to people.. if u act like a exec of big company, thne just go be one.. oh wait u r incompetent to be an exec.. thats why you show your displeasure here.. Grow up and behave
