Pizzeria Faulisi is some of the best pizza in the Raleigh area. They’re very consistent and the food is always delicious. I love that they add new seasonal pizzas to the menu every so often. Their recent fennel sausage pizza is one of the best!

Their food quality is not bad but their service is a complete mess! Zero customer service or understanding of how to run a restaurant.

most awkward eating experience i’ve had since moving to north carolina three years ago. they seated me at the corner of the bar, which made sense as i was there alone, but the only possible path for the server to come and talk to me required her to circumnavigate the entire restaurant, scoot behind the bar, and walk its entire length, all the while leaving me sitting in a feeling of apprehension over what she was coming over for as i hadn’t asked for anything.

there were 8 staff members inside the restaurant who all had nothing to do and stood around unmoving and silent, clothed in all black, not even looking at or making small talk with each other.

the offset counter placed me directly adjacent to the pizza dough guy, and he and i avoided eye contact as i struggled through my pizza, which had to be eaten with knife and fork because it was so floppy and heavily topped.

i was the sole patron in the restaurant for the entire duration of my meal. the food was good, the service was fine, and the restaurant looked nice? but this place must be operating as a ghost kitchen or a drug front because i’m not sure how they can stay in business if this is what it’s like to eat there. this experience was genuinely harrowing.

tldr: order online and pick up. do not by any means try to eat here if you want to experience a normal restaurant meal.

A piece of Europe in Cary. Cozy atmosphere, delicious pizza, best Tiramisu dessert I tried, regular size of glasses and room temperature water also made me happy. Highly recommended!

By far my favorite pizza in the area. I will drive 30 minutes from Raleigh to Cary for dinner here. I love the wood fired pizzas, obviously, but the salads, pickled items, and the CAULIFLOWER are also SO good. Clearly run by a team who cares about high quality ingredients and making sure guests feel welcomed.

Bar none, the best pizza in RTP. On the off chance that you already ate pizza this week, try the lunch sandwiches. Or, just stop by for a drink: the limited edition Sakura Machino Vermouth merits taking home a few bottles.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwiches and pizzas available

Best pizza in the Triangle - if you can get a table!I've eaten there many times, because it's honestly very good food. The pizza itself is delicious, thin-crust, wood-oven, Neapolitan-style pizza. They have an excellent wine list. Their salad/veggie options are unfortunately just 'meh', but that's fairly expected at a restaurant. They have a patio, so you can sit outside in the warmer months, and are close by to a couple breweries, so you can grab a drink before, and ice cream/gelato shops, so you can get a dessert afterwards (they also have a dessert menu). My only complaint is how hard it can be to eat there; they refuse to take reservations, they only do takeout on certain days (and arranged well in advance), they aren't open past 8, and on weekends they fill up fast. Many times I've wanted to bring friends/guests/business associates there, because it's quite good for the price, but end up not even trying because it's not worth the risk of being turned away if the restaurant is too full.
