Primo Pizza NY Style

Got takeout with my brother. We got a large Marguerite pizza. I’ve gotten this pizza from dozens of places in the Triangle - this one among the best. Really good.

Really good pizza

This is my wanna be delivery go to place. Love the pizzas, salads and pasta dishes. I would order more often but unable to order extra meatballs and the big issue is there is a minimum order. Seems like my orders always come just under minimum.

I learned the day of my daughter’s 2nd birthday that there is a pizza franchise called Papa Murphy’s that sell pizzas UNCOOKED. The vision of hungry kids and parents 30 mins before feeding time were encapsulating me when this Primo Pizza came to the rescue.

I asked the front desk a simple question: “Can you make 2x large pizzas in under 30 minutes??” To which, he responded affirmatively.

Twenty minutes later, the pizzas were handed to me with a reminder from the gentleman: “I told you we could do it.” He had no idea how he saved me. The pizzas tasted great according to parents and kids.

my calzones was thoroughly missing Ricotta cheese which I know makes a genuine calzone I'm from NYC so I know a good calzone when I taste it other than that it was not bad, hence the rating.

I've been coming here for years now with the rising cost of food. I've been left annoyed, but primos are good people. They are hard workers. They keep everything super clean and nice. Every day, anytime my broke butt can rely on 2 slices and a soda with refills for 8 bucks, can't beat that anymore anywhere else. However, sometimes it gets really busy, but they always make it right if you have an issue, 9.9/10

This is one of the best pizza places I've eaten at in North Carolina and it definitely lives up to its name with its New York style pizza. You can get pizza by the slice, of which I had two, and the pizza even fits on a traditional paper plate. The dessert on the menu seemed pretty good as well. I had a canole and was not disappointed.

I haven't tried the garlic knots, but I'll be trying them the next time I visit, which will be soon. A friend of mine got stromboli that looked and smelled delicious. I'm surprised you can find so much stuff this good in one place.

I would highly recommend Primo Pizza NY Style.

I’ve ordered from here for several years. I have had 3 orders in a row canceled through the slice app for delivery which runs through DoorDash. How DoorDash has no other drivers available is crazy to me. All I get from slice and Primo is an apology. After waiting an hour and a half after I’ve ordered to find that it won’t be coming I would elect to have one of their very own delivery drivers to deliver it if they are truly sorry for this to happen once, not even 3 times.

Every time I get the chance to pick my granddaughter up from daycare, she asks for pizza from the "pizza store," and Primo Pizza never disappoints her. Thank you for being my grandbaby favorite "pizza store."
