Love street tacos and hard for me to find excellent Mexican food(atleast what I’m use to coming from Utah). This food truck is delicious and what I’ve missed since I’ve moved out here.I would rather go to this food truck then a sit down restaurant anytime for good food!

My favorite burritos in the triangle. They take a while to get made so come here with that expectation.

We had Ricos Tacos scheduled for our neighborhood pool closing event on 9/20/20. I had confirmed with them the week before about being there, and had talked to them on the phone and texted the address, location, dates and times. They NEVER showed up. No phone call, no text, nothing from the business about why they never showed up. The following day I texted without a reply, and then called, but their voice mail box had never been set up. How disappointed to advertise a food truck event for our neighborhood only to have them NO SHOW.

I was start of by saying today seemed to be a very busy day for Rico's food truck. Lots of people very hot day. Because of that I'll give you a pass. But I'm going to be honest with this review. First things first I waited a little over 30 mins to receive my food. Now I do order more than most, but that quite a while to wait in the hot sun. Granted there were orders before me and people waiting. Now to the food, the meat was over cooked and dry for the most part. When I saw picture before everything looked great. What I received was very dry including the actual taco shells falling apart as soon as I picked them up. In addition, no juices were dripping from the meat so to me seems over cooked. Like I said though it was a busy day, I've worked in the food industry myself and i know everyday isn't perfect. I also didn't receive the cilantro or onion with my tacos which would have helped overall. The Carne asada fries I was impressed with the quantity of the food and the look, but once again the flavor profile was lacking. I will compliment the sauces I used them both and they were actually very very good. My overall experience wasn't great, but I'm sure they have better days.

The best tacos and burritos I've ever had.

Just picked up tacos today and they were charging $3 per carne asada taco which doesn't reflect the price it's listed for on their site, $2.25. I guess I'm taking my business elsewhere. Competitors charge less for a plate of several tacos, accompanied by beans and rice.

Best Mexican Food in the Area!

Over prices and nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely not California style like what everyone claims. Portions were small and bland for my taste. Sorry wouldn't recommend

Really good quesadillas for a great price. I’ll definitely stop by again.
Great food and the owner is so nice. I usually get the Carne Asada burrito but my favorite has been when they do a special and have Taquito's. Rico's Taquitos are the best I've had anywhere. I usually try to hit this truck once a week. I'm a San Diego native and Rico's is closer to SD food than most mexican places in the area. Check this food truck out if you're in the area you won't be disappointed.

Finally a place in NC that has California Burritos! It was amazing, reminded me of San Diego. Great food Rico!

I rarely do reviews, but thought I give one for this local Taco Truck. Lived in Indio, CA, LA, San Diego, and Reno. This is by far one of the best and closest thing I have tasted to West Coast Taco Trucks. Really good, and the meat is cooked to order. Some places, pre-cook the meat in large batches, and it is quite dry and lacks flavor.

These tacos are be BEST street tacos around. Great price. I love the pork tacos. The guacamole adds a little extra snazz to them!
