This place is the worst! I had gone to RISE several years ago and enjoyed their doughnuts. I was back in town and decided to try them again. What a horrible, subpar experience in every way. You walk in and there's no one to greet you. There's no customer "service" at all. There's a screen you order from. You can't see any of the doughnuts or other products. There are just some people working in the kitchen area. So you place your order on the screen and pay (and they have the nerve to have a tip screen---tip for who? You're placing your own order AND getting it). Then, with absolutely no instructions, you're supposed to somehow magically know how to get your food. I had to ask the kitchen staff who told me that my name would be on a large screen up near the ceiling on one of the walls. Then, when your order is up, one of the kitchen staff places it into a little "cubby" with a door. I honestly have no idea how to get it because one of the staff had pity on me and just handed it to me.And btw, the doughnut was stale. Really bad. Don't go to this place.

had been a few years since I had gone to Rise. didn't realize that the entire franchise had changed..now, very few donuts and a horrible and impersonal way of ordering. the apple fritter tastes like it was baked yesterday or at the very least 5 hours ago. even Dunkin donuts might be better and that's not saying much. RISE used to have the best donuts. they were unique and tasted fresh. not so anymore. I wouldn't return. I find it weird to order on a computer and pick up your food from a box with a door on it and then they deem to suggest you tip them for....for what? making the food that they already get paid to make? it's not like they're making waitress wages. I guess they're more known now for their biscuits, but either way...I wouldn't return based solely on the ordering experience.

I ordered from here on doordash. The food took a really long time (almost 1.5 hrs and the place is 15 minutes away) to come and the dasher was stuck at the restaurant waiting for a while but thats neither here nor there. The chicken tenders were very good, breaded well and cooked nicely. The seasoned tator tots did not taste very seasoned and were not that good. The most disappointing thing was the biscuit. It was too dry and was not buttery and left much to be desired.
So glad they opened another location nearby! This one is just as good as the one in Holly Springs, and that's a compliment.

When I heard they were opening a location in Waverly Place I was really looking forward to trying their biscuits - and I was not disappointed when I did! I had the Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit, the biscuit was nice and tender, as was the chicken. The Nashville hot sauce had a nice level of heat with a really good flavor. My first introduction to Nashville Hot chicken was at Hattie-B in Nashville and the Rise version is best I've had outside of Nashville. My wife had the Guacamole Smash and was thoroughly pleased as well. I ordered the night before as I knew I was going to be going by their location about the time they opened and I wanted it ready to go. Their app worked well, and I received a text as I was pulling into the shopping center that my order was ready. Can't beat that! I look forward to working my way through their menu as time goes on. Give it a try yourself, I think you'll be as pleased as I.

From my first time at this new location, I enjoyed it just as much as my experiences at other Rise locations I've been to (in what was previously Cameron Village and around the Southpoint Mall area). Very straightforward ordering system and the employees were quick and helpful throughout - definitely recommend!
