Ruth's Chris Steak House

We had a wonderful meal at Ruth Christ Steak House in Cary. Our server, Brooke, was very attentive and nice. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. The Manager stopped by our table to check that everything was okay. It is always a treat to go to Ruth Chris.

I've never left a poor review before, but given the cost of the food, I feel like I have to. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. My husband's steak was very overcooked and had no taste and my salmon was so dry. Neither of us could even eat half of our meals. We took the boxes home and threw them out. Wildly overpriced and I would never go back.

CELEBRATED (2) 90th Birthdays last night and our guests were beyond delighted with their dining experience at our favorite Ruth's Chris....Cary. This property is a CUT-above other area steakhouses. Kudos to our wonderful server, Jennifer, who was most gracious and attentive to everyone at our table; exemplary customer service as is always provided at Ruth's Chris. We have never had a less than stellar experience at Ruth's Chris, Cary and have been dining there and hosting big family events, etc. for the past 18 years. THANK YOU for your continued outstanding food and service.

Everyone from beginning to end were very attentive, the food was hot and delicious! It's was our waitress first time serving alone I believe her name was Ariana. Super sweet she did a great job!

Mitchell was our waiter and did an excellent job. Very professional, friendly, helpful. He made the dinner with my sister a very special experience. We look forward to coming back in the near future. The manager of the restaurant was awesome as well. I like how he went from table to table to ensure everyone was enjoying their dinner and experience. Great dinner experience last night. Very pleased!

Food quality was not good this visit. Filet had no taste, grilled shrimp was overcooked and crab cake was more breading than crab. Mashed potato's were lukewarm and gumbo was mostly vegetables.

This is our go to place to special occasions and today was our 44th anniversary. The food was great the steak cooked to perfection and the service was top notch.

Great food however a $95 steak was well done when we ordered medium rare. Drinks were delicious specially all of the old fashioned’s. Great service and delicious sides.

Atypical, but au gratin potatoes were not done. Practically crunchy. Otherwise, spectacular visit.

We made a NYE reservation and while the service was impeccable, ambience was romantic, the meal left a lot to be desired. While the petite filet and lamb chops were cooked to perfection, the rest of the meal was ehhhh. We ordered ties of au gratin potatoes, which were undercooked and way too buttery. The cremini mushrooms were overcooked. Our steak house salads with blue cheese dressing were drenched in so much blue cheese that it overpowered the greens. We also ordered the calamari starter and it was borderline soggy. I certainly understand that major holidays aren't always the perfect night for a standout dinner, but for $300+ - I had higher expectations.

Excellent service, very cheerful for the holidays. Food was excellent. Was greeted upon arrival and was checked on throughout dinner. My drink glass was never low and never had to ask for anything. Great experience.

Ruth's Chris is always a special experience for us. It is first class dining all the way. We had a very private seating area. Kyle was an excellent, and very knowledgeable, server. Our meal was perfect - the filet was cooked exactly as we wished, and the side, salad, and dessert were excellent. The drinks are a bit pricey for what we received, but were enjoyable nonetheless. We will be returning - a great place for special occasions.
